The Lost Boys

You stood beside David, eyes watching the every movement of the vampires sat in thrones in front of you. Their own coven members piled in the room, circled around your group. Paul, Marko, and Dwayne were tensed. David as well but he hid it well. Star kept her hand in yours, squeezing for assurance.

"What an interesting discovery." The raven haired vampire cheered, his hands together in a prayer gesture. His head tilted as he eyed each member of your coven. His eyes sticking on Laddie, causing the young boy to nearly make himself invisible behind you and Star.

You all were on vacation in Italy. Having flown here last night, it was your first night out and about now that the sun had gone down. You all decided to tour the ancient castle that was really popular. So you scheduled the night tour and here you were. The less fortunate ones of the tour had been made as these peoples meal. Your group took to the ceiling to prevent any harm to Laddie, and yourself. You knew they were vampires, but they were definitely different from your kind.

"My name is Aro. These are my brothers Caius and Marcus, and our four elite guards Demetrius, Felix, Alec, and Jane. Those are our middle ranked guards Heidi, Chelsea, Corin, Renate, Afton, Santiago, and Benjamin. The rest are lower guards, and newborns." Aro introduced you all to everyone with a proud smile.

"It is nice to meet you all." David replied, nodding at the man. "I am David. These are my brothers Marko, Dwayne, and Paul. My sister Star, the youngest of our group Laddie, and my spouse (name)."

"And do tell us, what made you all come here?"Aro seemed genuinely interested. Leaning forward in his seat.

"We needed an escape from our town back home." You answered, taking a step forward and letting Stars hand go. Laddie kept his hold on your jeans pocket. "Or creator Max had suffered an unfortunate end due to his foolishness. So we thought a vacation would be nice. Never would we have thought we'd meet others of our kind, yet so different." You explained, giving a small smile.

"Likewise," Aro hummed.

"The child." Caius finally spoke. Aro looked at him as if expecting him to make a comment regarding the child. "It is an immortal one." He hisses. Aro watches you and Star clutch the child close, and the men bend in defense. Several growls resonated around the room.

"Quiet." Aro demanded, ceasing the growls. "Brother, these vampires are not under our jurisdiction. We can't expect them to abide by the same laws." He reasons, watching the leader look down at the boy.

Looking at your watch you cursed. "Pardon me sir, but we must go. We have yet to hunt, and the sun will be rising soon, and I'm sure you wouldn't want us hunting in your territory." You speak up, feeling anxious about your deadline coming up. The boys became difficult to be around when they were thirsty, and Laddie a cranky toddler.

"Of course. We do hope we can meet again before you take off back home?" Aro asked, slightly hoping they would agree. He wanted to gather all he could about them.

Looking at David, you raise a brow. The ball was in his court now. Aro watched the interaction. The two of you were clearly the leading couple, and made decisions together. David's eyes twinkled with curiosity, and smirked. "I'm sure we can make that happen." He replied causing the man to clap and laugh.

"Wonderful! Until then young friends."
