Whenever the Queens would attend an event hosted by their husbands. The two never entertained themselves with the chat of the vampire world. Never. The two sisters always sat away from the crowd, each hand sporting their blood cocktails mixed with a shot of vodka. Gossiping and judging the vampires that passed by them. It was a fun game the two played. Seeking to find who would have the guts to tell either one of them off, and watching vampires look shocked by what they had said.
"A human." Athenadora chuckled, mocking surprise. She wasn't surprised. She knew there would be a human attending prior to the event. Aro had given a speech on how no one was to lay a hand on them. You stopped, not wanting to upset the Queens by ignoring them, and raised a brow. "Pardon?" You asked.
"Rather plain attire, child. You'd think you'd want to look at least a bit decent when attending a ball." Sulipica scolded you, looking over at her sister. "Maybe the Cullens don't know how to dress their pet." She commented. The two Queens broke off into laughter.
You frowned, and stepped forward. "I am no ones pet, madam, and for your information. I didn't ask to come here. Your power obsessed, creepy, blood sucking husband demanded my presence. So yeah, I wore something not so fancy to this ball." You went off. You were never the one to let people walk over you, even if in this instance it meant death.
"Also, don't the two of you have anything better to do than sitting here judging everyone. If that is all you're going to do. Maybe you should return to your tower and keep being completely useless to the whole vampire world." It was then that you noticed the room had become silent. All eyes were on the human, but none moved as the Queens sat silently observing the courage of the younger Swan sibling. Bella detached from Edward and moved toward her sibling. Her heart was beating rapidly at the fear of what would happen to them. Grabbing their arm, she pulled them in closer and whispered in their ear.
"Apologize, getting offended is no reason to lose your head." She said in a fearful voice, her eyes bouncing around at all the vampires in the room looking at the siblings.
"Damn right it is!" You hissed trying to break free from your sisters grasp. "Unhand me woman!"
"What an interesting human," Athenadora hummed. "Everyone else just walks by and doesn't pay much attention to us, but you."
"You have more bravery to shut someone up than half these vampires in here!" Sulipica laughed, placing her drink aside and standing. "You must join us for the walk through the gardens this evening. I'd love to get to know you."
"Um....sure. I guess a garden is a perfect placed to be drained by a vampire." You replied, the worst case scenarios popping up in your head.
"Just for a walk, not to eat you dear. We promise." Athenadora stood as well, smiling at you with her teeth showing. What could go wrong?
