I phased about a month ago, Bella keeps calling but she runs with vampires now. How could I be so stupid of course she knew that they were bloodsuckers she just doesn't know any better because Edwards got her wrapped around his cold finger.
"JACOB COME ON" Sam and the pack yell from the forest "STOP WORRYING ABOUT BELLA" Embry shouts in between laughter. I just roll my eyes, they don't get it. But then again it's not like I've imprinted on her

Dad told me that the Cullens had moved away about 6 months ago and then proceeded to tell me not to worry about them but I just couldn't let it go, it lingered in the back of my mind.
However, tonight me and him are going to the diner he said he wants me to meet his bestfriends daughter Bella swan. I dont remember her or her father from when I used to live here so I'm guessing that they are recent friends. I put on a pair of jeans and a zip up hoodie and left my long black hair out and messy. Theres no one Im trying to impress all the guys in forks are either meatheads or total dorks.

When we got to the diner Bella and her father charlie were already sitting in a corner booth with some drinks at their table, Bella was gorgeous she had long brown hair and a fair complexion, I'm starting to wonder if I should've put more effort into my outfit. Her dad on the other hand was wearing a cop uniform and greeted us with a smile.
After a little bit of small talk I have come to realise Bella's father Charlie, is a super simple and down to earth guy, while Bella is intuitive and creative but just a little quiet, me and her get along really well and she asks if I want to come over to her house and stay the night. Of course I agree and I go home with her and Charlie.

I plopped down onto Bella's bed and started to take my jeans off "hey Bella do you have any clothes I can wear?" I ask "yeah of course" she replied and hands me some plaid pajama pants and a black tank. Once I get changed Bella catches a glimpse of the bite mark on my shoulder, she looks like she's just seen a ghost. "Hey Dahlia.. how did you get that scar" she asks pointing at my shoulder, I grimace "Bella what if I told you everything you every believed in was a lie and that fairytales weren't just imaginary"
"Vampires" she replied, I darted my head towards her "You know?" I ask "My boyfriend, he was a vampire..." she explained
I got the entire story from Bella and to say the least, our story's were very different.
"Okay my turn" I said "I didn't know his name, but he had red eyes, not golden, and he stank of in indescribable smell" I began "It was late at night and I was on the way home from a movie theatre after I just got dumped by my friends, he began to follow me so I sped up, but he was faster. I turned down an alleyway hoping to lose him, but the further I walked the sooner I realised it was a dead end and he was right behind me. Before I knew it his teeth had sunken into my shoulder and I fell to my knees, after that everything went black. I think I passed out from the pain" I explained.
Bella looked horrified "what happened after that?" She asked "well the next morning I was in bed still in the same pair of clothes and everything, so obviously I assumed it was a dream until I saw the raw scar on my shoulder, from then on out I've never walked around that area again." I stated
"But there not all bad! Edward and his family didn't eat humans, I don't want you to despise vampires because of your experience" she told me "well Bella it's a lot more rare to meet a vampire that doesn't drink blood rather then one who doesn't, so id rather not take my chances" I laughed "fair enough" she added
"So Bella, who was Edward and his family?" I asked, she sighed "the Cullens, so sophisticated yet interesting" she explained "the Cullens?" I asked "yeah what about them?" She replied "Bella are they coming back and if not where did they go?" I said frantically "oh I don't know the answer to either of those questions sorry" Bella apologised I sighed "that's okay I guess I'll just never know what's happening to my mother" I said under my breathe "what was that?" Bella asked softly "oh nothing let's just go to sleep!" I replied

The next morning Bella and I got changed I put on some of Bella's clothes and I clasped the pendant my mother gave me around me neck. "That's beautiful" Bella compliments "thank you, my mom gave it to me" I smiled "so what should we do today?" I added "well I could actually use some moral support" she began "go on" I replied "we'll ever since Edward left I've been hanging out with this guy, Jacob" she says "do tell" I smirk "well he's really great and we've been fixing up some old bikes together but recently he's been ghosting me and his dad says he's got mono but I don't buy it, so im gonna go visit him today, come with me?" She asks "I don't know bella sounds pretty personal" I reply "oh please Dahlia you can just stay in the car but I really need someone there for me" she says "alright alright, I don't do favours but you're lucky I like you" I smile "thank you you're a lifesaver!" She says happily.
And with that we jumped in her truck and made our way to the reservation.
