Panoramic view of the small, snow covered woodland contained within the hedge, with snow covered suburbs as far as the eye can see outside of it.
Panel 2.
The porcupine mom Penny and porcupine dad Lou are sleeping in a huddle with their children Bucky, Spike and Quillo inside of a burrow.
Panel 3.
The squirrel Hammy is sleeping in the big log, surrounded by a pile of acorns, hugging them contently.
Panel 4.
The raccoon RJ is sleeping in the new home the animals built for him. His golf bag lays beside him.

PAGE TWO (four panels)
Panel 1.
Close up of RJ running, terrified. He's wearing his golf bag as usual. He's running on the top of a truck, and the sky is a scary mix of red, purple and black hues.
Panel 2.
RJ leaps from the back of one truck, towards the front of another. Some small items fall out of his golf bag as he jumps.
Panel 3.
Having landed safely, RJ breathes a sigh of relief.
Panel 4.
The paw of Vincent the bear reaches up from the window and grabs RJ by the golf bag, making him look back over his shoulder in alarm.

PAGE THREE (five panels)
Panel 1.
Inside the truck, Vincent is in the passenger seat, while a ghostly faceless human figure drives in the background. Vincent is holding RJ up by the throat, out the window. Vincent has a sadistic toothy smile.
VINCENT: Time to die.
Panel 2.
Back in RJ's snow covered home, RJ squirms, tossing and turning in his sleep. Sweating visibly.
RJ: No!
Panel 3.
RJ: I really do have a family now!
Panel 4.
RJ: I don't want to die!
Panel 5.
RJ wakes up and sits up straight on his bedding. He is visibly hyperventilating.

Panel 1.
RJ's ears perk up as he hears a faint sound in the distance.
SFX: Rumble... rumble...
Panel 2.
RJ quickly puts on his golf bag.
Panel 3.
Now wearing his golf bag, he sprints towards a big tree.
Panel 4.
RJ scampers up the trunk.

Panel 1.
RJ looks out over the suburbs to see bulldozers gathered on the other side of the hedge. One of them has knocked part of it down and is moving into the woodland.
