The two come up with a plan to deceive a group of animals, led by Verne, a box turtle, and Red, a bird, who all live in a forest and just woke up from hibernation. Meanwhile, Verne, Red, and the rest of the animals wake up to a confusing sight. A giant hedge which separated the forest they lived in from a newly built suburb.
