"You girls noticed, right? The prophecy came true in that palace," Minju said after the group of six settled into their seats. The tickets they got were definitely not for a premium bus, but a regular one that was already pretty packed with tourists.
"Oh yeah, 'the owl, raven, and swan aid in playing the trickster's game'." Yena recalled. "The answers to all the riddles were how we managed to beat Seokga and escape."
"But Yujin's riddle was about water and bubbles. How'd Wonyoung help in that?" Yuri asked.
"It was actually in French," Yujin replied. "Turns out Aphrodite kids have duolingo installed in their heads."
"Yah, not funny. That's no way to talk to someone who basically saved your life," Wonyoung argued.
"But who's the one who created an air bubble to keep us safe? Me." Yujin barked back. Everyone else was now sighing knowing the two would be going at each other again.
"Give it a rest, you two," Yena said before it could get out of hand. "Why don't we all just take a rest. We got a couple hours until we make it to Ami-dong,"
The way both girls glared at her made Yena think they were trying to turn her to stone, but once Minju yawned, it seemed like the others realized how fatigued they were and began to mellow out.
"You can take a nap too, unnie. I can take first-watch." Chaewon suddenly said.
"Hmm? It's fine. I'm the oldest, remember?" the duck replied.
"All the more reason for you to get your beauty sleep, grandma," Chaewon joked back in a serious tone.
Yena smirked. It wasn't often for Chaewon to crack a joke. "Okay, okay, but don't call me that again."
In truth, Yena was exhausted as well from her fight with the bulgae. She was just trying to avoid sleeping because she was afraid of having a dream. It had been a while since she had one, and she wasn't ready for whatever awaited her. Her fatigue ended up getting the better of her though, her eyelids slowly dropping until she was sent to dream land.

When Yena opened her eyes, she was surprised to find herself back in the principal's office. Seated in front of her was the dean, but when he spoke, a different voice came out, one that was deep and heavy.
"The child of Zeus. I've been waiting to meet you for a long time," he said.
"Kronos, I presume?" Yena said, motioning to pull out Light Breaker but came up empty handed.
"Oh, there's no need for violence right now, Choi. I just wanted to chat," Kronos replied with a menacing laugh. "Your friend was a lot easier to talk to."
Yena gritted her teeth. "What did you tell her..."
"She didn't tell you about the deal I offered?" Kronos chuckled, feigning surprise. "And here I thought you were best friends. Just goes to show how easily bonds can be broken."
"No! You don't know anything about us!" Yena yelled back. "We're going to send you back to the hell you crawled out of!"
"I'm shaking in my boots," Kronos said sarcastically before standing up. "I am the lord of time. I can see all that was and will be. Do you think I'd be afraid of some upstart demigods?"
"You couldn't even beat the ones in New York! Don't think we'll just roll over." Yena barked back.
This taunt seemed to tick Kronos off just a little as Yena noticed the dean's face contort just a bit. "I don't expect you to roll over. In fact, I prefer that you struggle and fight. It's always more fun to watch the will drain away from mortals' eyes."
