The whole camp was abuzz at the turn of events, the results of the capture-the-flag quickly buried aside from the occasional griping from the Ares kids, who felt it was unfair that Minju used a cheap trick to hide the flag.

Usually, there would be a big meal for the winning side, but given the extraordinary circumstances, Seunggi decided to have it postponed to the next day.

Now, Yena, Yujin, Chaewon along with some cabin counselors were seated around a table in the Big House that Yena recognized from her first day at camp. It was a well-furnished room with Greek paintings on the wall. Yena wondered if those were replicas or the real deal.

"What an interesting couple of days these have been, don't you all think?" Mr. D said to break the ice. He was still wearing the same Hawaiian shirt and board shorts which made him a bit difficult to take seriously, but nobody dared to speak up.

"Oh, come on. We just had three forbidden demigods revealed on consecutive days, and no one is one bit enthused?" Mr. D continued, noticing the anxious atmosphere.

"It's not that, Mr. D." Chaeyeon replied. "It's just a bit shocking. Usually these things only happen-"

"When the world is about to end, I know. That's what makes it fun!" Mr. D laughed.

"Mr. D, why don't we cut right to the matter of hand then? The campers still need to recover from the events this morning." Seunggi interjected. At this, all eyes turned to Yena and her friends.

"Right...so you three are what I would call special cases. There aren't many demigod children from Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. The fact that they've all decided to claim you with the same time frame is certainly telling. They need you for something," Mr. D said flatly.

Yena wasn't sure why, but the nonchalant way Mr. D spoke about their existence made her feel like there was a pit in her stomach. Was it the fact that their parents only showed themselves because they needed them or that there was a target on their backs for whatever reason.

"Does it have something to do with the dog from earlier? I thought you said there was a barrier that kept monsters from getting in." Yena said, referring to the flaming dog that had attacked her during the event.

"You're right. The only way to get a monster into camp is if someone lets it in. That is, unless..." Seunggi looked like he wanted to say more but let his voice trail off.

"What is it, sunbae?" Eunbi asked.

"Yena's description could make this a hellhound, but something was strange. Hellhounds aren't usually covered in fire."

"I've heard of something similar," Minju suddenly spoke up. "It didn't come from Greek mythology though."

"What do you mean, not from Greek mythology?" Chaewon queried.

"As in, a monster from another pantheon," Seunggi answered. "Our barrier is not as strong as the one on Long Island. While under normal circumstances, a monster would need permission to enter camp, that only applies to Greek ones. It's possible that a monster from another culture was sent to attack you."

"Why would a non-Greek god have any interest in killing any of you three?" Nako questioned. At this, Yena noticed Mr. D's gaze meeting Yujin's, as if he was trying to make her say something. Chaewon was also giving the younger girl a similar look.

"Actually... I might know something," Yujin eventually said. She then proceeded to describe her dream from the previous night.

"Someone was killed?" Chaeyeon asked.

"And whoever it is might be from another pantheon?" Chaeryeong added.

Yujin nodded. "They mentioned the Greeks being interlopers and that we're here to take over."
