Chapter four

Willy's pov:
It had been a couple days since Mael and I hung out and I was really sick. "Mom!" I called out "What is it!?" She yelled as she walked up the stairs to my room "I don't feel too good" I said in a sleepy voice
"you look pale, you better stay home today" she stated "but ma-" "but nothing. You're staying home." She cut me off and I sighed "can someone at least come over?" "Is it Mael?" She said already knowing "how-yes it is" I responded and she sighed "fine, Mael can come over. I have to go now" she said and placed a kiss on my forehead before leaving in a hurry.

I decided to call Mael to tell him to come over "hey, Mael" I said as soon as he picked up on the first ring "hey, you sound sick, are you alright?" He asked sounding concerned and I nodded like he could see me "yea I'm fine I just got the flu" "well that's no good" "it's fine, can you come over though?" I asked, hoping that he would say yes "of course, do you need anything from the store?" He asked, he was always so considerate of others "I'm okay, thank you though" "Alright, bye, Willies" "bye Mae" I said with a stupid grin, I loved the way he called me Willies, it sounded really cute like a plural version of my name.

*Time skip*

I heard the doorbell ring and I already knew it was Mael so I just yelled "come in!" Since I did not feel like standing up, Mael came in but knocked again at my bedroom door which didn't surprise me, he was always so polite "Come in Mael!"
He came in, carrying a plastic bag and he smiled softly, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"How are you feeling?" He asked looking down at me "not too bad" I replied and he nodded "I know you said that you you didn't want anything from the store but I still got you something" he said before handing me the bag which had some cough drop, blue Doritos, Mike and Ikes, and a Dr Pepper in it "thanks Mae" i smiled, my cheeks turning rosy and he returned the smile."so, what do you want to do?"I asked sitting up and he shrugged "Maybe watch a movie or just something you don't need to move around for" "or we could play play Mastermind" he smirked and I shot him a glare "We are NOT playing that, you always win" I said and he chuckled.

We ended up playing Operation and I noticed that he was really Jumpy, even the other day at the park he was, when a car honked or there was any other sudden noise. I didn't think too much of it at first but it's just kind of weird. I didn't mention it so that I wouldn't ruin the ambiance.

After playing for a while Mael practically forced me to take my medicine and eat something. I'm glad he did because I felt way better than I did before "I have to go home now. I'll let you rest." He said and I nodded a little disappointed.
"Alright, see you, Mae" I said and he ruffled my hair before leaving.
I yawned and decided to take a nap.
