This story was originally written in the spring of 2019, and thus before El Camino released and the COVID-19 pandemic rendered 2020 and 2021 (the time in which this story takes place) very different from what is depicted. I also hadn't watched Better Call Saul at this point, so anything that contradicts it, El Camino, or events in the real world, is a result of the reasons listed above.
