Wednesday morning was packed for me, with three different surgeries and my allergies tripled cos I didn't have too much time between them to recover fully. It was almost 12 pm when I received a call from Nate.
" Hey hun "
" Hey darling, what's up ? "
" I'm fine, just finished my work for today and I'm thinking of what to do for lunch "
" That's great, I'm just lying around, bored of being at home. Mind if I come over ? "
" Not at all, please buy me a burrito in your way, I'm starving "
" Just a burrito? "
" Something to drink too please "
" Okay then, no problem "
" Thanks a lot "
" Don't mention sweetheart, I'll be there in 30 minutes, max "
" Drive safe "
I was happy with the way Wednesday was turning out. It was the day we were supposed to move out of the hotel and into the newly rented apartment. Since I had finished all my work in the morning, I could leave sometime around 2 pm to go to the apartment with Nathan who going to help with moving and settling things at the apartment. I had already paid the moving company to carry the things I had boxed from the hotel to the apartment. Now that Nate was coming over to my office, we'd eat and talk a little before driving down to the house. He got to the office about thirty three minutes after he called and of course he bought somethings to snack on.
" Thanks a lot Nate "
" You're welcome "
" I got a mail from the moving company. They said they're still occupied with something now, but they'll be on their way to the hotel before 2 pm. They said they'll let me know when they're about leaving. The good thing is that there's not much to move from the hotel. "
" Do they know where you dropped the your stuff ? "
" Yes, it's not at the hotel exactly. It's at the warehouse inside the hotel. I dropped everything there so it'll be easier. "
" That means we'll have to be on our way as soon as they send you the next mail, so we'll be there to receive the things and show them in. "
" Yup "
" Alright then, let's finish up and get going "
" It's a good thing you made sure the furniture was fixed before now. The only thing they'll be setting up is the few things that were bought recently "
" That's right "
" What about picking Stacy up from school ? "
" Garrett will pick her up, she'll be spending the night with them at least while I put everything in place in the apartment "
" That's perfectly planned out then "

The moving company had come and gone, I and Nathan were unboxing things. I was starting to sweat so I took off my suit jacket.
As Emma shed her suit jacket, Nathan's gaze lingered on her slender figure, now accentuated by the black camisole. The soft fabric hugged her curves, and the dim lighting danced across her skin. He felt a flutter in his chest, his eyes drawn to the gentle rise and fall of her breasts.
"Need some help?" Nathan asked, his voice low and husky, as he stepped closer to Emma.
Their hands touched as they reached for the same box, sending a spark of electricity through both of them. Emma's cheeks flushed, and Nathan's heart skipped a beat.
As they worked together, their bodies brushed against each other, the tension between them growing. Nathan couldn't resist the urge to trail his fingers along Emma's arm, his touch sending shivers down her spine.
In the silence, their breathing harmonized, and Nathan's lips yearned to meet Emma's. He craved the taste of her skin, the softness of her lips.
Without a word, Nathan's hands encircled Emma's waist, pulling her close. Their eyes locked, and Emma's lips parted, inviting him in. The air was charged with anticipation as Nathan's mouth claimed hers, their kiss deepening with every passing moment.
The world around them melted away, leaving only the thrum of their hearts and the gentle rustle of their clothes as they moved closer, their love and desire entwining like the tender threads of a tapestry.
Nathan's hands roamed Emma's body, tracing the curves of her waist, hips, and back. Emma's fingers danced across his chest, sending shivers down his spine. Their lips met again, and again, each kiss deepening the connection between them.
As they embraced, Emma's camisole slipped down, revealing her shoulders. Nathan's eyes locked onto the soft skin, and he couldn't resist the urge to kiss her there. Emma's breath caught as his lips grazed her shoulder, her neck, and the edge of her ear.
Just as they were lost in the moment, a small voice pierced the air. "Mommy?"
Emma's eyes widened in surprise, and she hastily adjusted her camisole. Nathan stepped back, his face flushing with embarrassment. They both turned to face Stacy, standing in the doorway with a curious expression.
"Hey, sweetie! What are you doing here?" Emma asked, trying to sound calm.
The little girl's gaze darted between her mother and Nathan, a hint of a smile on her face. "I came to see if you needed help. But it looks like you're getting lots of help already!"
Emma's cheeks flushed, and Nathan cleared his throat, trying to diffuse the awkwardness. "Well, we were just... um... trying to get the furniture sorted."
Stacy nodded, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I think you're doing a great job, Mommy. But maybe I can help too?"
Emma smiled, relieved, and opened her arms for a hug. "That would be wonderful, sweetie. Let's get everything sorted together."
As they hugged, Nathan couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected interruption. He knew that this moment, awkward as it was, would become a cherished memory for the three of them.
