NOVEMBER 6TH 1983
HAWKINS, INDIANA
*AT THE WHEELERS BASEMENT*
*Something is coming...", Mike whispers looking at them. "Something hungry for blood," He looks at Riley. "A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you in the darkness," everyone looks at him curiosity filling them.
"It's almost there." Mike says "What is it?" Will asks leaning forward, they all turn towards the curly haired boy as he spoke.
"What if it's the demogorgon?" Dustin says as he starts panicking, Will and Riley groaned at the sametime.
"Oh,Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon." The curly haired boy says as he placed his forehead on his palm.
"It's not the demogorgon." Lucas assured the curly haired boy.
"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" The black haired boy placed a troglodyte toy on the table while speaking, Lucas smiled proudly.
"Troglodytes?" Dustin says smiling
"Told ya." Lucas says as they all chuckled, Riley looked at Will smiling.
"Wait a minute," Mike says softly. "Do you hear that?" he continues as their smiles fade away, "That...that sound?"
he stutters making Riley worry."boom...boom...BOOM!", he yells as he slams his hand on the table again,
making everyone flinch
"That didn't come from the Troglodytes," He says looking at them, "No, that...", he
starts "That came from something else," he says looking at Riley again, he then placed the demogorgon toy on the table,
"The Demogorgon!" he yelled as everyone groaned.
"We're in deep shit!" Dustin says puffing.
"Will, your action!" The black haired boy speaks looking at the boy with brown hair and a frange.
"I don't know!" Will says panicking.
"Fireball him" Lucas suggested looking at the boy.
"I'd have to roll a 13 or higher" Will says looking at Lucas.
"Too risky," Dustin starts "Cast protection spell-" He got cut off by Lucas
"Don't be a pussy! Fireball him!".
"Riley? what should i do?" Will says looking at her "Fireball him, Will."
the brown haired girl says nodding her head.
"No! Cast protection!" Dustin says looking at her, soon Mike slams his hands on the table again "The Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering!", He yells looking at them
"It stomps towards you, boom!"
"Fireball him! Will!" Riley and Lucas spoke at the sametime looking at Will.
"Another stomp, boom!" Mike continued
making them panick more, "Cast protection!" Dustin insisted."He roars in anger!" Mike yells as they all started talking at the sametime.
"Will!" Riley shouts as Will then decided himself, "Fireball!" He yells as the dice fell clattering on the floor.
"Oh, shit!" Mike says as they all stand up looking for the dices.
"Where'd it go?" Lucas says looking around "Where is it?" Riley adds.
"I don't know!" Will says looking under the stairs, "Is it a 13?" Dustin says standing up too.
"I don't know!" Will repeats.
"Where is it?!" Lucas says "Oh, my God!",
Dustin says putting his hands on the back of his head "Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" He continues walking back and forth. "Can you find it yet?" Riley asks looking under the table.
"Mike!" Karen yells opening the basement door. "Mom, we're in the middle of a campaign!" Mike says annoyed. "You mean the end? Fifteen after." She says walking away with Mike following her."Oh! I got it!" Will says standing up the dices in his hand, Riley walks towards Lucas and Will.
"Does the seven count?" Will asks looking at both.
"It was a seven?" Lucas says looking at Will as he nods
"Did Mike see it?" Riley asks and Will shook his head "Then it doesn't count" Riley and Lucas spoke, the four of them
wore their coats and bags.
They were climbing the stairs but Dustin
stopped them with a question "Yo, hey, guys," Dustin says opening the pizza box
"Doesn't anyone want this?" He asks looking at the pizza box, the three of them shook their heads, climbing the stairs walking out of the basement to the
Wheelers garage to take their bikes.
