Wichapas woke up with a heavy feeling on his lap. He tried moving but the weight restrained him. Slowly, he opened his eyes and saw Blue hugging him, widely awake. He smiled at the kid and caressed his hair, making the kid look at him.
"Good morning." He greeted Blue.
Blue stood up immediately and looked at the bed. "Good morning, Daddy. Papa is still sleeping." The kid's hair is messy and seems like he just got up as well.
Wichapas looked back and saw Build, perfectly tucked in the blanket. "Let him rest more. Let's cook breakfast." He lifted the kid, and like usual, Blue hugged him like a koala.
Wichapas heated milk for Blue and made coffee for himself. As the kid waited at the dining table, Wichapas brought the milk and coffee. Accidentally, Blue hit the coffee cup with his arm and spilled it to Wichapas' shirt. It was hot and sticky. Wichapas stood up urgently and grasped Blue's arm.
"Are you hurt? Are you burnt?" Wichapas scanned Blue's arm.
"Daddy…" Blue's eyes started to tear up while looking at Wichapas' stained shirt. The kid felt so guilty for accidentally throwing hot coffee to his Daddy.
"Don't worry about it. Now, answer me. Are you hurt?" Wichapas caressed Blue's head.
The kids shook his head while wiping his eyes with his arms. "I'm sorry."
"Daddy is fine. Don't worry, okay? As long as you're not hurt." He kissed Blue's forehead. "You're a big boy now. Big men don't cry like that. Finish your milk. I'll make breakfast."
Wichapas removed his shirt, leaving only his pants on. He grabbed a blue apron with a cat design and started cooking breakfast. The apron served as his protection since he doesn't have a shirt. Blue finished his milk and went to the living room to start watching television. Blue continued talking to his father while the man was cooking. The kid tells his father what was happening on the television and sometimes asks his father about something that caught his curiosity.
Wichapas was so immersed in cooking and engaging in Blue's conversation when a groggy and sleepy Build went out of the room.
"Dad, will you bring me abroad some time?" Blue asked his father, now seated on the carpeted floor while playing with the plushies.
"Of course. Where do you want to go?" Wichapas continue shuffling in the kitchen.
"I want to ride a plane. I want to see the clouds and I want snow." Blue giggled. His back facing the room door so he didn't notice his Papa.
"That would be dangerous for you. Too cold is bad for you. Papa might not allow it." Wichapas started the fried rice.
"Yes. Too cold is bad for Blue. Then, where should we go?" Blue asked, standing up and going to his Daddy in the kitchen while hugging the carrot plushie.
"How about we visit your uncles?" Wichapas looked back at the kid when he realized that he's in the kitchen.
Build took a step to the kitchen but he didn't let them see him. He continues to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Really? When are we going?" Blue started jumping up and down.
"We will ask Papa." Wichapas smiled at the kid. That's when he noticed a figure standing a few distance away from the kid. "Why did you get up?" With furrowed eyebrows, he stepped near to Build.
"Papa!" Blue hugged his father's leg.
"Good morning, baby." Build's voice cracked.
"How are you feeling? You should've stayed in bed." Wichapas reached them, still wearing the apron with a spatula in hand.
