Chapter 1: Alone

'All it takes is one rotten day to transform a normal man into a monster'

Y/N was dejected and angry, it has only for been a few weeks since he had regained control of his body from Otto Octavius. The brilliant but twisted mind of Doctor Octopus had taken over Y/N's life, masquerading as Spider-Man and leaving a trail of chaos in his wake. Now, Y/N was left to pick up the pieces of his shattered existence.

All his friends abandoned and turned their backs on him including Peter, Miles and Gwen. Not even his ex-girlfriends, Felica, Carol, Julia, Natasha or Silk believe him. But what hurt the most was the Fantastic Four specifically, Reed Richard, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm who he thought as his second family, told him to stay away from them and the Baxter building. The city, once his home, now views him with suspicion and fear. Everyone left him. All except for his family, Susan Storm, and his nephew, Franklin and his niece, Valeria, who knew Y/N would never do such a thing. His family didn't even know he was Spider-Man. Y/N was swinging as he gets a call from Susan. 

Y/N: Hey, Sue.

Susan: Y/N, where are you?

Y/N: I'm just out, patrolling, trying not to get shot at by the police.

Susan: Y/N, I'm worried for you, Johnny said you came by wanting to explain the superior Spider-Man events but he turned you away.

Y/N could hear the anger in her voice.

Y/N: I'm fine, Sue. Don't worry.

Susan: It's not okay! Y/N, it's you! It's always you! You're always getting hurt emotionally and physically, either through someone else or you put yourself in harm's way, and I hate that I'm not always there to help you!!!

Y/N could hear sniffling on the other end and blamed himself for making her feel this way.

Y/N: I'm sorry, Sue.

Susan: And stop saying sorry for every little thing! It's not always your fault! And your certainty not your fault for me having a little tear up.

The two stayed quiet for a solid minute as Y/N stopped swinging. Y/N knew that he wasn't always the one that caused things, but at times, he blames himself for letting it happen.

Susan: I want you to come to the bunker. You're hurting and I'm free right now. Franklin and Valeria are also worried and wants to see you.

Y/N: You sure, the others won't find out.

Susan: Johnny's out partying, Ben's at the Avengers tower, and Reed is locked in his lab and he won't be coming out until tomorrow morning. You're coming to the bunker, where you will have dinner with me and the kids and have a nice relaxing time, understand?

Y/N smiles a little bit.

Y/N: That's sounds nice, I'll be there soon.

Susan: Swing safe, Y/N.

Susan hangs up and smiles to himself knowing he at least still have a few people that cares for him. Y/N then arrived at the bunker, which Susan made for Y/N when the superior Spider-Man events came out and everyone begin to hunt down Y/N. Susan made it for Y/N in case he ever needed to go into hiding. On the outside of New York, Y/N arrived at the bunker and closed the steel doors behind him. The reason no one has found the bunker is because with Y/N's help he and Susan made it undetectable to satellite scanning and it was far away from anyone. Y/n arrived down into the living room and sees Franklin and Valeria.

Franklin and Valeria: Uncle Y/N!

The two kids then hug him.

Y/N: I'm okay, kids. Promise.
