Chapter 6: The Message

Meanwhile, at the Avengers Tower, the heroes were waiting for Fury.

Reed: Where the hell is Fury? He should be by now.

Peter: Guys, I was listening to Jameson broadcast and you wanna hear this.

Peter rewinds the broadcast as Jameson speaks.

J. Jonah Jameson: Five years ago, the criminals and villians of New York took over New York, the heores of this city have been fighting a slowly losing battle, but there is now a spark of hope as Y/N L/N who was pressumed missing has contacted me, is in my office right now, wanting to come on air.

Everyone's eyes widen. They then hear Y/N's voice.

Miles: He's there?

Steve: We need to get to him. Now.

Y/N: Hello, Jameson. It's been a while.

J. Jonah Jameson: Tell me, Y/N, where were doing the five years?

Y/N: Really? You're not going to belittle me, call me a menace, bash my name in the mud? You and this city must really be desprate for my help. But, I cannot disclosure where I've been during these five tyears, all you need to know is that I have something planned. Something that will protect this city for the upcoming years.

At the Daily Bugle, Y/N is sitting with Jameson as he talk.

Y/N: Now, I know New York is the most dangerous state in the United States right now, but I want to let you all know is that the reason I left was to prove a point.

J. Jonah Jameson: A point?

Y/N: That you need me, because once you look around you realize that the other heroes, the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, the Web-Warriors, even the Defenders are worthless heroes, only causing more for the world, they created Ultron, made my so-called friend, Peter Parker reveal his identity which led to his Aunt nearly dying, and now Tony Stark got my entire family killed and still throughout all this, I was being called a menace by everyone. But now I going to do things my way. Thank you.

Y/N pulls out a picture.

Y/N: Also, I have a good picture you could use for your newspaper.

Y/N lands him the photo and it shows a Hydra symbol. He looks at him confused.

Y/N: Flip it over, I left a little something on the back.

Jameson turns it around and it has red lettering.

'Walk out of the building slowly or everyone dies.'

Jameson looks up at Y/N who smirks. Susan then turns herself visable. The three walk out as Susan turns the three invisable to avoid people seeing them. They reach ah alley as Susan turns them visable. Y/N then sees the heroes apporching as Y/N pulls out his radio.

Y/N: Do it.

The Daily Bugle blows up, killing everyone inside. Jameson tries to make a run for it but Y/N grabs him and knocks him out. Susan then takes Y/N's radio.

Susan: Misson accomplished. Fall back to the base.

Susan makes the three invisable and flees as they go to a jet waiting nearby. They fly off as the heroes begin to clear the rubble looking for any survivors or to see if Y/N was in the explosion. 

At the Hydra base, Y/N and Susan were walking down a corridor as the soldiers salute them. They reach the room and see Nick Fury tied up as he being beaten up. Y/N and Susan goes up to Fury.

Fury: Y/N...?

Y/N: Fury, it's been a while.

Fury: What are you doing?
