Chapter 2: The Rise of Y/N L/N

In the Avengers Tower, all the heroes watch the news in despair.

News Reporter: ...and we can confirm that Y/N L/N's family are confirmed dead.

Steve: Still nothing?

Peter: Nothing. He'll usually be calling.

Steve: Reed, have you found him yet?

Reed: No, I use the satellite to try and track him but I got nothing.

Steve: We need to find him. Despite our differences with him, we don't need to deal with him going back to his superior Spider-Man phase again.

Steve looks at Tony.

Steve: Why did you reveal his identity? That wasn't the plan.

Tony: He's a threat, Rogers, I mean for God sakes, he murdered people.

Steve: That still doesn't give you the right to reveal his identity. If something happens to Y/N and he snaps, it's on you.

Steve looks back at Reed.

Steve: What about Susan and the kids, do they know where he is?

Reed: I don't know, I haven't seen them.

Meanwhile in the bunker, Y/N is sitting there, broken and miserable. Susan and the kids walk up to him and embrace him as he cries in their shoulders.

Susan: Shh, it's okay, we're here for you...

Y/N cried as he eventually passed out as Susan put him in bed. Susan exited and sees the kids.

Valeria: Can we tell him now?

Susan: I think it's time, I just hope he can see reason.

Soon after, Y/N woke as he finally stopped crying. He saw he was in his bed as he sees a note.

'When you wake up, come to the living room, we need talk with you.'

Y/N had a bad feeling in his stomach but got up and saw Susan sitting down with the kids.

Y/N: You wanted to talk?

Susan: Yeah, sit down.

Y/N does so as Susan begins.

Susan: I was going to wait to tell but due to the situation you're in, we don't want you to be alone.

Y/N listen and did not want to interrupt her.

Susan: Do you remember Red Skull?

Y/N: Yeah, one of my last few missions before the superior Spider-Man events happened.

Y/N remembered that mission well. He, the Avengers, X-Men and the Fantastic Four along with Peter, Miles, Gwen and Silk who Y/N was dating at the time went to stop Hydra from world domination. After they cleared the Hydra guards, they confronted Red Skull and he blew up the facility. Everyone managed to escape unscathed as Red Skull died in the collapsed facility. Hydra was then disbanded without a leader.

Y/N: Why are you bringing this up?

Susan: Because... Hydra is not dead.

Y/N: What?

Susan: It has a new leader. Me.

This caught Y/N by surprise. He did not expect the person who he had a crush on to be with of Hydra. Y/N looked at the kids.

Franklin: We knew and we accepted it.

Susan: When I was young, my father was working with Hydra. As Johnny grew up having a normal life, I was growing up with Hydra in secret. My father taught me many things until him and my mother both passed away soon after. We then went to live with our Aunt Marygay Jewel Dinkins, who ran a boarding house but I never forgot Hydra. When I got my powers, I returned back to Hydra ruling along aside Red Skull until his death and because of that, I became the new leader of Hydra.
