Matilda flipped the camera to reveal Grey's playing on the tv. "Grey's Anatomy with Mom, as usual."
"If you were with your mom, I can go."
"Don't!" Taylor exclaimed from her spot beside Matilda. "I've not even here!"
Sam burst out laughing, the whole idea of talking to his crush while Taylor Alison Swift sat next to her was bizarre to him. But he didn't mind, he was talking to Matilda Swift after all. "Your mom's the best."
"I know," Matilda grinned proudly. "What were you doing before I texted you?"
"Trying to stop Colby from teasing me. He's outside the door complaining right now," Sam chuckled.
"I wouldn't even be talking to you if Inez hadn't spammed me, how weird is that."
"Thank god for Inez then."
"Hang on," Matilda's eyebrows furrowed. "How did you and Colby meet?"
"Band camp," Sam laughed. "At fourteen."
"Damn! My only friends like that would be...hang on."
"Rosie," Taylor informed her. "From preschool."
"Ha!" Matilda pointed her finger at Sam through the screen. "I've known Rosie longer than you've known Colby!"
"Oh come on, I thought I'd finally gotten something!"
"I actually hate the paranormal though and you dive headfirst. You weirdo."
