What Is A Karen ?

** Everyone had a good night of sleep... and they slowly started getting ready for the day, Carina got Violet, Scarlett, Alessandro and Londyn ready for their dentist appointment that day , she also started making breakfast for everyone, her famous French toast... Maya eventually got up and went downstairs... Carina left the house with the kids around 8h55 am ! She gave Maya her kiss and headed to the dentist office... **

Londyn : why do I have to go to the dentist momma !

Carina: because it's important to take care of your teeth and make sure everything is fine with them !
Londyn : but I still have my baby teeth in my mouth momma !

Carina: yea I know, it's okay, the dentist will clean them up and see if they are getting wiggly or not.. don't worry about it okay?

Lorenzo and Chloe : okay , did you all hear about the neighbours! They were being so loud earlier this morning..

Such a Karen !

Maya : I didn't hear that at all! When momma comes back you'll have to explain to us what is a Karen ? Because we are both very intrigued in knowing what you are talking about when you say that!

Chloe and Lorenzo: alright! Don't worry we'll give you everything you need to know about What a Karen is !

**Three hours later Carina comes back home with the four kids and Violet and Scarlett didn't think they would have braces in the future... they started freaking out. Carina didn't want to hear about it. **

Carina: Alright let's go inside.
Londyn : can we play outside now momma?
Carina: uhhh no, because it's not safe to play outside right now, the wind is blowing so hard we have to get in the house really quick. Maybe another day this week.

Violet and Scarlett: we really don't want to have braces momma .

** Carina opens the door and lets everyone in **

Carina: how many times do I have to tell you girls, it's a possibility. He didn't say anything about getting them on now.

Hi everyone we're home!

Maya: hi everyone, hi my love. How was the dentist...
Scarlett and Violet : ehhhh it was okay.
Londyn : mommy , I don't have any cavities in my teeth and the dentist counted my teeth in all of my mouth isn't that cool ?
Maya: woahhh that's so cool yea , how many teeth do you have?
Londyn : I don't remember.

Maya : oh it's okay, Alessandro, how was your appointment?
Alessandro: good, I don't have any cavities too !

Maya : two out of two ! Perfect!

Girls how about you ?

Violet and Scarlett: we don't have any either but we might have to get some braces when all of our baby teeth are out...

Maya : ohhhh ! It's okay! It's not a bad thing to have braces, you know....

Carina: thank you... I have been trying to tell them that for a while now and they keep saying they are definitely going to get some even though no one said anything about that becoming a reality.. and if you do end up getting braces it's not going to be for a long time... one year to two years maximum and it's going to be worth it in the end....

** Niccolas really missed his momma so when she got home he looked at her and extended his arms and she immediately picked him up and held him in her arms **

Niccolas: hrmmmm momma perfume !

Lorenzo: yep , we unfortunately have a KAREN guys... as our new neighbour...
Maya and Carina: okay , now that we're both here, please explain to us what is a Karen ? Or who is a Karen ? How do we not become a Karen ?

Lorenzo and Chloe: basically a Karen is a slang term typically used to refer to a middle-class white American woman who is perceived as entitled or excessively demanding. The term is often portrayed in memes!

Basically it's a person who thinks they are above the law. And make their own rules about everything, and doesn't mind their own business whatsoever.. like our new neighbours! See how she is shoveling the snow IN HER own driveway.. and she's clearly not happy about some of the snow on the neighbours to our left side of our house... she's going to yell at them because " their snow is n her side of her yard" !

**Carina looks at the window and sees that their new neighbour has officially lost her mind.. right now she's shoveling the snow and putting her " excess" of snow on the next neighbour yard **

Oh my goodness she can't be serious about this!

Whyyyyyyy do we have to have THIS KIND OF NEIGHBOURS...

Maya : I don't know my love , we just have to ignore her and we'll be fine babe!

Carina: yea I guess, guys , since we're all here, we'd like you all to interact with her on rare occasions please... she doesn't seem like a friendly person and we stay away from people like that okay?

Londyn and Giovanni and Salvatore: okay but what if she comes to talk to us ? WE can't just ignore the neighbours moms !

Carina and Maya: right, just make sure you are not alone when you're talking to her okay ? It's for your safety that we're saying this okay ?

Giovanni: okay momma , so let's say we play outside in the snow and we're with Enzo or Chloe and she says hi to us ... is it okay if we stay hi to her?

Maya and Carina: yessss , if you are with Lorenzo and Chloe it's okay...

** Several hours later everyone was ready for the holidays, they decorated their tree with Christmas music in the background for ambiance... and then they had take out for dinner, after that they all went to take a shower or bath... and they watched Christmas movies together all snuggled up in their blankets, Charlotte and Niccolas were both dozing on and off during the movie. !

By 22h everyone was getting ready to go to sleep, Carina always checked if they had locked all of the doors and left a few lights on during the night.. Ahe was carrying a sleeping Niccolas in her arms while she went through the house,  and she then knew that all of their doors were locked she was ready for bed ! The kids all went upstairs to their bedroom half asleep. Maya was already in the bed sheets when Carina walked in with a sleeping Niccolas in her arms.. they kissed each other good night and Carina gently put Niccolas in his crib ... his bedroom is literally a few footsteps away from the master bedroom.. his room is on the left side of their, while Charlotte is the same, only a few footsteps away from them, but on the right side of the master bedroom.. by 22h30 everyone was asleep. **
