Thursday December 31 st 2024

** Today was snowing really hard, the wind was blowing and everything was falling apart, the tree branches were swinging from side to side and it was banging into the kids windows.. which woke up several kids... Giovanni and Salvatore were both scared of the noise...so they ran into their moms bedroom and they climbed up on their bed . Maya was up with Niccolas now, Carina woke up for the first time with him at around one o clock in the morning , so she's sleeping throughout everything **

Maya: what does the penguin say?

** Nicco waddled his little shoulders and head around, he was holding a small stuffed penguin stuffed animal.**

Nicco : mhrmmm ! Waddle waddle waddle mommy !

Maya : good job!

Giovanni and Salvatore: mommy , what is this noise?  We scared!

Maya ; oh hi boys, it's okay, it's just the wind blowing really really hard..

Giovanni and Salvatore: but why wind blowing so hard like that now! It's scary!

We stay here with you okay? Oh momma is still sleeping..

Shhhhhhh ! Ohh she is so beautiful when she sleeps!

Maya : it's okay, you boys can stay here with us , I know it's scary but you are safe here in the house! Okay ! Our house is sooooo big and so strong and nothing can break it down okay ?

Giovanni and Salvatore: hrmmm okay !

Soooo how did you sleep last night mommy ?
Maya : I slept good thank you! How about you?
Giovanni and Salvatore: we slept okay.. we heard the sound of tree branches coming from behind the house and it knocked the branches into the window of our room but we slept through that! But we got up to go to the bathroom and then we ran very quickly so the hallway monster wouldn't come get us !
Maya ; ohhh wow !

Giovanni and Salvatore: yea , we are soooo fast , luckily the hallway monster didn't get us !
Maya : the hallway light was on though right?
Giovanni: no it wasn't on , that's why the hallway monster was out of the hiding spot mommy ! Only when the lights are on that he stays in his hiding spot mommy !

Maya : ohhh , I'm sorry we forgot to turn it back on yesterday.. but I'm glad the two of you knew how to run super duper fast together!

We will make sure to leave the hallway light on okay?
Giovanni and Salvatore: hrmmm okay mommy . What are we doing today?
Maya : uhh , well today we are going to finish the year with maybe some guests but it's going to depend on the weather because if it's like this all day.. we'll see... we might go play outside.

** Carina was tossing and turning around in the bed .. she moans a little bit and slowly opens her beautiful brown eyes..**

Hrmmm babe ? Is that you?
Maya : hi , yes it's me , and the boys!
Giovanni and Salvatore and Nicco : hrmmmm good morning momma !

Carina: hrmmm ! Good morning boys! What time is it now babe?

** she stretches her arms and legs and sits up straighter and hugs her boys .... And gives several kisses to Maya . **
