Chapter 2. Uploading...

*Caspar's P.O.V.*

Cool air blows on me for a moment as I open the fridge to put the milk back in, and bring my bowl of cereal to the table. My eyes widen as I sit down in front of Joe and stare at my cereal, bringing up the spoon full of corn pops up to my mouth and taking a big bite.

While enjoying my delicious corn pops, I hear Joe let out a heavy sigh. I look up at him and see that he hasn't eaten a single bit of his cereal.

"Joe, you alright?" I swallow my spoonful of cereal and push the bowl a little aways from me to look at him.

He frowns and his eyes wander around the room. "Yeah. Well, I'll be alright." He replies very quietly.

I rest my head on my arms which are folded on the table, and look up at him. "Joe. Please talk to me about it."

"It's just." He pauses and looks back down at his cereal. "Well, you know I'm gay." I nod. "You're the only person I've told." I nod again. He sighs and continues, "People are starting to wonder why I haven't had a girlfriend for a very long time. I never even mention it to anyone, or in my videos."

"I know. Go on." I reply and wait for him to keep talking.

"I'm tired of not being able to, you know, actually date someone that I want to date." He rubs his forehead and stares down at the table.

"Joe." I look at him, trying to get him to look back at me.

"Yeah?" He turns his head to me.

"You know I'm pansexual. I've been fine with dating girls off and on, but I haven't been able to come out and say that I've liked people other than females. I'd really like to though." It hasn't bothered me that much, but it still would be really nice to freely date anyone, especially on camera, with no big deal about their gender. I just really want Joe to feel comfortable, if he's going to come out.

His eyes brighten up a bit. "So, you're saying that you'd tell them with me?"

"Of course I would, Joe." I smile at him and sit back up straight in my seat, bringing the cereal bown back in front of me.

He gives the classic Joe smile, with his cheeks raised high and his eyes squinted a bit. "Thank you sooo much, Caspar. This is why you're my best friend."

"Anytime, Joe!" I reply with my mouth full of the cereal.

~The Video~

Joe and I exchange glances, and he nods. I lean towards the camera and press "Record". Today it's just him and I filming.

We both take a deep breath, and I begin. "Hi, my name is Caspar Lee, and I am here with Joe." He smiles and waves at the camera.

"Hi, guys!"

"Sooooooooooooooo," Joe and I both say in unison.

He continues, "As you can tell by the title of the video, I think, it's going to be a liiitttlleee different today..."

We both look at each other, "We wanna just plain out say it? Or," I ask him, raising my eyebrows.

He takes a deep breath. "You say it, then I'll say it."

"Okay."

We both take another breath.

"I'm pansexual." I say and give a small smile.

"And I'm gay!" Joe says, more excitedly that I thought he would.

I look over at him, and he's has the smile that I can't tell is fake or not, 

"Joe," I say to him.

"Uh, what?"

"Why are you smiling?" I laugh a little nervously.

"Well you wouldn't want me to cry, would you?" He's got a point...

After we talk about why we're coming out, and we pretty much explain everything, we finish the video.

Him and I both let out a long breath, grabbing the laptop and sitting on Joe's bed to edit the video and publish it...

*Joe's P.O.V.*

'THE COMING OUT CHALLENGE ft. Joe Sugg' Caspar types into the computer, taking a deep breath. We glance at each other, and then back at the computer screen. 

"This is it..." I whisper to Caspar, bringing my legs up to my chest and resting my head on his. 

"Yup." He whispers back, releasing his long breath and clicks 'Upload'..... I sigh onto his shoulder and squeeze my eyes shut. 

"Everything's gonna be different now. You know that, Casp'." 

A little smile appears on his face. "Yeah. But I'm sure it'll be a better different." His head gently falls onto mine as his smile grows and he slowly closes his eyes.  

I let my face relax while his words calm me down, "Today's been a long day."

"It sure has." He replies in his sleepy voice.

Caspar and I both slowly doze off, smiling at the same time because we both know that it is going to be better from now on.
