As a little kid, you often times view your parents as 'your hero'
You see no flaw in them,
just pure love.
But unfortunately, for some, well, most honestly, that changes in the blink of an eye.
The loving cuddles and piggyback rides turn into rare interactions and distance.
The long conversations and questions turn into silence.
It starts off with just one bad day. Maybe they're just having a hard day. They didn't mean how they acted
But a day turns into weeks and weeks form into months until there is no going back to that soft loving relationship.
You begin to avoid them because you know they don't actually want to talk to you, and it just turns to arguments.
Seeing things that remind you of those happy, innocent memories shoots a pain through you knowing that things will never be the same, no matter how hard you try to fix it, THEY will never be the same for you.
