Walking towards the direction of my lab, I went to open the door when suddenly I heard footsteps coming up from the stairs
Curious, I went to take a look at who it was.
Judging from the way I can hear the clanking of heels from the steps...
"Asumi?" I looked at who came up, and it was the jeweler herself.
Did she change her mind about not wanting to join?
"Are you here to help with the party decorations?" I asked her, as she stared at me with a blank face.
Should I try talking with her?
>Sure.
-She scares me a bit..."If you are, then my lab where we're hosting it is right around here-" I turned around to show her the directions to where my lab was.
As soon as I turned back though...
I could see her start walking up the stairs to the next floor, completely ignoring everything I said to her.
Huh....I guess she really is not a talkative type. I should probably leave her to her lonesome.
I guess she wants to use her free time for other things. Understandable.
Sighing in disappointment, I walked towards the inside of my lab. Despite the fact that the decorations team had less people than the cooking team, I'm sure they can all work together when it comes to this-
I immediately got glitter, and confetti thrown at me when I opened the door.
"Oops! Sorry, Tei!" Iona said, apologizing to me as she gave me a cloth to wipe my face with.
Looking at the room, I could see that it was basically already done. There were ribbons hung on the walls, a dance floor set up in the middle of the room, and also had the already existing tables there arranged to place the food and plates in.
Honestly...they probably didn't need me here, huh?
....then again It's not like I'm good at anything, really...
"This is so going into the GC!" Snapped out of my thoughts by the voice, I could see Urara pointing a Kumophone at my direction.
"Did you-"
"Yup." She said, as she showed me the picture she took of me covered in glitter before immediately typing something.
"And...send!"
"Send where?" I asked her.
"The group chat? Rei, have you not been looking at it this entire time?" Iona said to me, as I went to check on my Kumophone.
Sure enough, Urara has been sending us videos of what the decorations group were all doing in the group chat.
"Oh..." I say, realising what they meant. "I haven't really checked it to be honest."
"Jeez, are you like, a goddamn Grandpa or something. I'm starting to think you're not even part of this generation of you can't even like, turn on your phone, or check the notifications." Urara said in annoyance.
"Well...I don't really use my cellphone for anything much really so I'm a bit new at this. Sorry."
It's not like I even had a smartphone before I enrolled here, just a regular flip phone.
"Aww, no need to be sorry, Gei. We all learn at our own pace." Iona said to me reassuringly though she still hasn't gotten my name right once.
"Tell ya what, how about we like, both teach you how to like, actually use this thing? Being the dynamic duo that we are, I'm sure you can like, get it under our like, guidance or something-" Urara tried to say to me before getting interrupted.
