Chapter 2: Daily life(VI): Acting Out

"That should... probably be good, right?" I say to myself as I placed the two plants near the window.

"....Right, you're not here." I said turning my head around, and realising I was alone.

I'm used to having to ask my sisters whether the placement I put things in look right or not.

Guess I do miss home a lot more than I realized.

N-not to the point that I'd kill someone of course, that'd be...not good.

Sigh...I hope that without me sis is still going to that place. I'm sure she'll be able to get it right even if I'm not there.

Anyway... let's see what time it is now...

That might have felt like hours but it was probably just a few minu-

2:50!?

D-did I actually just spend hours adjusting these plants...?

...Maybe I am worthless alone...

Quickly opening the door, I headed first to check up on Hikaru's room.

I also just remembered I was supposed to help take care of him....

.....I really am a bad friend, huh?

As I went to knock on the door, I couldn't hear any responses. As I knocked twice again, that was when I noticed the sound that someone was snoring inside the room.

Must be Hikaru. I probably shouldn't interrupt him when he's sleeping while sick, huh?

....plus his snoring is pretty cute.

Smiling at the thought, I made my way downstairs when I saw Mitsukuni in front of his room.

"Oh, Mitsukuni!" I greeted him. "You're...going to the show?"

He nodded in response before walking out of the dorms, and heading towards the practice building together.

"How's Hikaru doing? Is he...still sick?" I asked him to which he nodded once more again.

"Oh...that's...I hope he'll get better soon." I said as Mitsukuni nodded in sympathy.

I'm a bit surprised he decided to came to be honest, considering how much it seems he didn't like Erika, and acting in general, but..maybe he's trying to overcome that fear?

If so, good for him.

As we made our way into the building, we went over to Erika's lab. Opening the door, we went inside.

Only to be met with the loudest music in the world blaring across the room as most of us except for Iona, and Tsurugi coveded their ears.

"OH HEY YOU MADE IT!" Iona greeted as she yelled at us through the loud music.

Inside the room was everyone except for obviously Hikaru, and then Asumi, Sena, and...weirdly Naoki?

Didn't he say he was going to come here?

"HEY, CAN WE LIKE TURN THIS OFF." Nijiko yelled at the cyber security agent as she held her hands to cover up her ears.

"WHAT!?"

"TURN IT OFF!"

"WHAT!?"

"BITC-"

With a walk full of spite, Nijiko went over, and turned off the sound system.

"Hey, that was my reading music." Tsurugi said, annoyed.

"Get better taste." She bit back.

Taking my hands off my ears, I breathed a sigh of relief now that the racket is gone.
