Hey, wanna meet for lunch? I'd love to catch up.

Yoongi smiled as he read the text before he replied.

About a hour later, it was his lunch break. He drove to a nearby restaurant. He looked around before he spotted Namjoon and waved at him. He quickly made his way over to him and hugged him.

"Hey!"

"Hi hyung, I'm glad you agreed to this." He said as he pulled Yoongi's chair out for him.

"Yeah! I've been wanting to properly catch up with you." Yoongi said.

"Me too. So... how's work been today?"

Yoongi nodded as he looked over the menu. "Good, but I'd much rather be at home, enjoying my new place. How's your day been?" Yoongi asked.

"Some paper work... following trails. Same old same old." Namjoon said before they ordered their drinks.

Yoongi nodded. "Any close to finding the killer?" He asked.

Namjoon hesitated as he looked Yoongi over. Yoongi nodded. "Ah yeah, I totally get it! We can change the subject!" He said

Namjoon set his menu down. "I know you're in a committed relationship, but I still want you to be careful out there, okay? This guy is charming, suave... not that you would ever cheat on your partner but I'm sure this guy would find a way to convince you.... He's that good." Namjoon said.

"How do you know?" Yoongi asked.

"I don't know for sure, but that's the profile the NIS gave us."

"The NIS is involved?!" Yoongi asked.

"Yeah..." Namjoon said.

"Joonie... how many people has this man killed?" Yoongi asked.

"A lot."

"A number, Joonie." Yoongi said softly before their waiter walked over and set their drinks down.

Namjoon waited until he left. "Well... if this is the same guy, we're pretty sure it is, over 200... we think he kills maybe once or twice a month... guy's gotta have serious control." Namjoon said.

"That is insane... how could someone do that?" Yoongi asked.

"I don't know.... They have to be the sickest person in the world." Namjoon said.

Yoongi nodded.

"Enough about my job! How did you two meet?" Namjoon asked.

Yoongi smiled and blushed. "The pet store. I had went with Jimin after he got his dog and Taehyung and Jungkook walked in... I thought Jungkook approached me to try and get to know about Jimin since Taehyung had bet him to it, but he said he wanted to hit on me." Yoongi said.

"Which is insane, you've seen him!" Yoongi said.

"Hyung, don't even. You are extremely handsome... gorgeous... beautiful." Namjoon said as he looked Yoongi over.

Yoongi blushed more. "Jungkook is the lucky one." Namjoon said softly.

Yoongi scoffed lightly. "Joonie—"

"I never stopped loving you." Namjoon confessed.

Yoongi stared at him. "I'm sorry," Namjoon said as he continued. "I know I shouldn't have said anything... but I just couldn't hold it in anymore. I have no intention on coming in between you and Jungkook... I just needed you to know." He said softly.

Before Yoongi could respond, their waiter walked over to take their orders. They were both silent after he walked away. Yoongi sighed softly and took a drink of his soda. "I told Jungkook that there was nothing left between us..." Yoongi said softly.
