Chapter Five |Parents|

CHRIS

" Aight get up " I said to Jasmine as she got up from being on her knees while I pulled my pants up

" But I wasn't finished " she whines

" Well I'm tired, I had a long day " I yawn

" I thought you said you had after school detention that's why you were late " she says

" I did. I had two hours of it completely silent cause Avery was be a fucking baby and wouldn't talk to anyone"  I said rubbing my eyes. I was extremely exhausted.

" eww you talk to Avery? " she asked rapping her arms around my stomach

" Yea and your point?, move " I say slightly pushing her out the way so I could leave

" Cause I don't like her " she says rolling her

" Well I guess y'all feel the same way about each other, bye " I said walking out the door to my car. I didn't have time to listen to her talk smack about Avery

I got out the car and walked towards the door. I unlocked it and immediately the lights flick on. My mom was standing there with her arms crossed scaring the crap out of me

" Chris where were you " she says

" Why does it matter, I'm home now ain't I? " I say with an attitude walking around her to go upstairs

" Because its eleven o' clock and I know after school detention isn't that long! "
She yells. I just turned around and pretend I was listening to what she has to say. Here comes the lecture.

" Chris..I know it's been hard moving to a different school, but you need to start making better decisions. We moved out here, so you could only focus on school and not those guys you call friends. I really want you to graduate " she says grabbing my hand

I snatched my hand back then headed upstairs.

" The only reason why we moved here is cause that ugly ass nigga David you married! " I said slamming my door

I swear I hate that man. We moved here about a week ago only cause he had a nice job offer here in California. Him and my mom met somewhere and then a year later they get married. He told her about the job and how they didn't know how their relationship was gonna work with not being together, so we moved here and they brought the house together. Still to this day I will never understand why the house had to be huge. The things he buy are so expensive it's crazy. I need to find out where he's working! He works every fucking day and never home. I swear if he's cheating on my mom, I will kill him.

I took my clothes off, then hopped in the shower.

" Hopefully tomorrow's a better day "

I woke up with someone on my arm. I'm guessing to wake me up. I open my eyes to see David above me

" yo what the fuck! "
I say sitting up

" Sorry son your mother told me to wake you while she went grocery shopping " He says giving me a fake smile

" I'm not your fucking son, I'm Chris " I say through greeted teeth

" Well 'Chris' make sure you get ready for tonight we have guest coming over for dinner " he says walking out leaving my door open. I hate when people do that

I groan to myself then force myself out of bed to get ready. Thank god it's Friday cause I'm not going to school today. To me Friday's is my day off.
