Chapter nine |Rumor|

" Ma I'm on my way out! " I shouted out to her, closing the door behind me. For some reason I was looking forward to going to school today, because I was able to see Avery. Even though I could just go over to her house and see her, I low-key missed being a badass.

I unlocked my Lamborghini and got in starting the car up. My phone started to ring and I looked to see it was Avery calling.

" Wassup Babygirl " I said hooking my phone up to the Bluetooth in my car

" Uhh don't call me that, I already hear way too much of that from my dad" she says

" haha I'm not, but what you need? I'm on my way to school " I said pulling out the driveway

" Um could you like take me to school today? Kiron still isn't talking to me. " she says

" Of course. I'm on my way now " I said hanging up the call

" Thanks Chris my parents are annoyed with me again and Kirons acting like a little boy " Avery says getting in the car.

" No problem, but why is Kiron mad. What you do this time? " I laugh driving off as soon as she closed the door

" I didn't do anything. I think he's just mad that I didn't leave with him, but instead with you after we came from the movies " she says shrugging her shoulders

" Wow that's crazy. It's like he's jealous or something "

" I wouldn't say jealous. It's not like we're together " she says referring to us

" Right " I say then remain quiet afterwards. I kinda felt hurt to what she just said even though it was true

" You wanna ditch school today? I don't feel like being here " Avery asks me

" When do you ever feel like being here? Now get out " I say to her as we get out the car

" Wow any other time you would " I could hear her mumble under her breath as we walk towards the building

Soon as we walked in practically all eyes were on us. People started whispering and giving us  dirty looks. I know I ain't do shit so they must be staring at Avery

As we walked down the halls heading to our Math Class Jasmine walks up to us and pulls me to the side

" Uh Chris I know your not still hanging with Avery after what happened? " She says

" What are you talking about? "

" Oh you haven't heard? She's been sleeping around with random people " She says making an evil smile

" I don't have time for your bullshit Jasmine " I said walking away

I walk into class receiving more dirty looks. Avery was already at her desk, so I went to mine. As soon as I sat down Avery walks over to me.

" Chris what did your girlfriend want? " She playfully asked

" None of your business! " I snap

" Gosh never mind " she says walking back to her desk.

" I see you didn't want to catch anything " Jasmine says talking a seat next to me

" Not now Jasmine! " I get up and walk out of class. The teacher doesn't even bother to stop me. I went to the auditorium.

When I got there it was quite and no one there to bother me. I took a seat and started thinking to myself. Of course I don't believe what Jasmine said, but by the way everyone was looking at us...it could be true.
