Chapter eleven |Ashamed?|

It's been two days since I've spoken to Avery and it's driving me crazy. I've been ignoring her calls and texts but for certain reasons. Even not bothering to go to school. When I got home after coming from her house I was super pissed at how her dad tried to come at me, but he had every right to. I guess my mom noticed the way I was acting and asked me if I wanted to talk about. I don't usually let my mom in my business, but I know she could keep a secret. I told her everything and she flipped out. She was of course mad about me skipping school, but more concerned to why a grown man was trying to fight me. I guess David overheard our conversation, because he stormed in says how he was gonna have a talk with Avery's dad. I don't want that to happen, because then Avery is gonna be mad at me, so I'm just gonna keep my distance. Personally I think he's just trying to show me how great of a step-dad he can be. I just don't want her to think I'm ashamed of her cause I'm not.

AVERY

I rushed into my first class hoping and praying Chris would be here today and it was the same results as last time. He wasn't. I'm really starting to worry. All I want to do is at least see him and know that he's okay, but maybe he's just ashamed of me and what people here at school are gonna think.

I go to my seat and put my head on the table as the class begins

" Okay class we have a test today I hope you all studied" she says walking around to pass out the test. I wasn't in the mood to take a test, so I wasn't gonna take it.

" Avery head up and take the test " she says. I ignore her

" Aver-

" I heard what you fucking said I'm not taking it! " I said putting my head back down.

" I see someone's mad " I could her Jasmine mumble

" Jasmine shut the fuck up and mind your business! "

" At least I don't have sex with people for money " she laughs. That's when I run over to her pulling her out her seat punching her face multiple times

" Get off me! " she yells trying to avoid my hits. People start pulling me off her but I'm still getting my hits in

" That's for making those rumors about me you hoe!" I yell as they pull me out the classroom 

" Avery what's your problem!?You need to go to Mr. Dons office right now!" The teacher yells handing me my book bag

" Gladly " I say walking away feeling accomplished

" Avery I'm so disappointed" Mr. Don says shaking his head

" When are you not " I sarcastically say rolling my eyes

" You've been doing so great theses past two weeks, now all of a sudden you go back to your olds way, but worse!"

I never actually thought about that. I have changed once Chris came around and now that he isn't here again, it's like how it used to be before

I shrug my shoulders.

" Well you're being suspended for a whole week! How bout that!? " he yelled

" How bout you stop yelling, I'm right here " I said covering my ears

" Out of my office now! " he pointed to the door. I got up and walked out. I must've made someone mad. Oh well I'm mad too and now I'm suspended...great
