As soon as Louisa was about to attack the three kids Maximus jumped in and knocked everyone out, he then carried empty bottles of wine and placed them next to the kids; he then carried an unconscious Louisa to the library without being spotted and put her on a table, Suki was also there, waiting at the library.
Suki: What took you so long?
Max: I had some minor setbacks.
Suki (puzzled): How did you know, all this was going to happen?
Max: I took a wild guess.
Suki: That's one heck of a wild guess.
Max: Thanks, did you examine the drug?
Suki: Yes, but I have never seen anything like this; it's a mixture of many different things, including nightshade, holy water, and...
Max: And what?
Suki: Human blood.
Max (After pausing for a second): I may have an antidote for this.
Suki: What is it?
Max: A scarce herb called crapularius, it is known to calm a vampire down. (Max then opens his pendant and removes a silver, dried herb from it.)
Suki (astonished): Where did you get that pendant from?
Max (while brewing the cure): It was my father's.
Suki: Who exactly was your father?
Max (smiles softly): He was a powerful elf and the strongest man I knew; he was the only person I had in this world, my dad.
Suki
Max's smile slowly disappeared; I had failed to notice it at first but his eyes were dark, almost lifeless. It was as if he did not care about anything or anyone.
Suki: I'm sorry, Max.
Max (smiles): Don't worry about it. (Saying this he finishes brewing the potion and gives a small amount to Louisa).
Max: Suki, stand back, I don't know what this will do.
Suki (shocked): You said you knew how to brew this potion.
Max: I do, but only the first few steps
Suki (anxious): What are we going to do if it doesn't work?
Max (jokingly): We'll bury her.
Suki (even more anxious): Did we kill her? (starts tearing up)
Max: No, she's just resting; she will return to normal in about five minutes. Now please stop crying, there, there (pats her head).
Suki: sniffs... okay... sniffs.
After some time, Louisa finally wakes up.
Suki (overjoyed): Louisa, you're aliveee, (starts crying and hugs Louisa).
Louisa then walks up to Max and smacks him on the head.
Max: Oww! What was that for?
Louisa: For planning to bury me.
Max: Heh, I guess now you know why.
Louisa: Fine, let's get this over with, we know Azra is the culprit so let's expose him now.
Max: Yes, we know he is the culprit but we have no proof.
Louisa: Isn't the vial enough?
Max: We have to trace it back to him; Suki, you are the only one who can get close to him; so are you up for the task?
Louisa: Why can't I do it?
Max: You might just smash his face.
Louisa: Good point.
Outside the library window, you could see that heavy rain covered the whole of Conmoditas. As they continue talking, Maximus hears a familiar footstep which keeps getting closer and closer to the library, they see Azra drenched, giving off a sinister smile he asks them.
Azra: What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be banished by now (looks at Max), and aren't you supposed to be dead by now (looks at Louisa)
Max: We know what you're up to, and now, you cannot escape your fate.
Azra: Fate? (laughs maniacally), Do you believe in fate, Maximus?
Max: Well, everyone's got to believe in something; since you're going to kill us anyway, tell me, why are you doing this?
Azra: Do you know of the Revival Technique hailed from the Oritsu Clan?
Max: Yeah, what about it?
Azra: It is going to revive my mother.
Max stares at Azra for a moment and chuckles softly which then turns to loud laughter; this infuriates Azra.
Azra: WHAT'S SO FUNNY? HUH!!
Max: Haha, wait, hold on a minute; you were trying to commit murder based on a fairy tale? How stupid can you be?
Azra: SHUT UP, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT FAMILY, ABOUT LOVE, ABOUT ANYTHING AT ALL.
Max (his expression turns serious): You're right, I might not know how you feel, but I won't whine like a baby and commit homicide.
Azra yells at Max and tries to attack Louisa and Suki, but to his surprise, they are not there; he looks at Max and sees a smile on his face.
Max: You fell for it didn't you? I cast an illusion, you know, to mess with your mind.
Azra then goes to attack Maximus at full speed with his sword but is easily overpowered by Maximus's monstrous strength, Azra tries to launch another attack but is blocked again, Azra then launches a fury of attacks which were strong enough to demolish the entire library and knock Max at then entrance of Ayame's mansion; even after those attacks, Max was still standing.
Max: Oh, you're done, I almost fell asleep.
Max materializes a sword from thin air and in a single slash, he hits all of Azra's vital points and leaves.
Azra
No, it can't be, after all those years spent training, planning, and suffering; I cannot be defeated by a commoner; there is no turning back now, I must use it.
Max
After this match was over, I slowly left Azra's body as it was so that I could get some help for him. Suddenly I sensed a tremendous aura behind me, it was Azra, he had become a chicken. (actually an angel-like being)
