Kalieth woke with a start, the golden light of dawn filtering through the window of his new cabin. It had been a few weeks since he learned of his divine parentage and the prophecy linked to his presence at Camp Half-Blood. Each day felt like a test of endurance and resolve. Today would be no different.

After a quick breakfast in the mess hall, Kalieth made his way to the training grounds, where Annabeth was waiting for him. Her stern gaze softened slightly as she saw him approach.

"Ready for another round?" she asked, tossing him a wooden practice sword.

Kalieth nodded, gripping the sword with a mix of excitement and anxiety. "As ready as I'll ever be."

Annabeth led him through a series of drills, each more challenging than the last. She corrected his stance, adjusted his grip, and pushed him to move faster and strike harder. Kalieth's muscles burned, and sweat poured down his face, but he refused to give up.

"Focus, Kalieth," Annabeth instructed. "Your mind has to be as sharp as your blade. Remember, it's not just about strength—it's about strategy."

As the days turned into weeks, Kalieth's skills improved. He trained tirelessly, not just with the sword but also in hand-to-hand combat, archery, and even monster combat simulations. The other campers watched with a mix of curiosity and admiration. Despite his initial awkwardness, Kalieth was proving to be a quick learner.

One afternoon, as Kalieth was practicing his fencing under the watchful eye of Annabeth, he was joined by a new mentor: Percy Jackson. Percy's easygoing demeanor and infectious confidence were a stark contrast to Annabeth's intensity.

"Hey, Kalieth," Percy greeted with a grin. "Ready to kick it up a notch?"

Kalieth couldn't help but smile. "I think so."

Percy took over the training, introducing Kalieth to more advanced techniques and sharing his own experiences. "When I first got here, I was just as clueless as you," Percy admitted. "But you'll get the hang of it. The key is to trust yourself and your abilities."

As the school year progressed, Kalieth balanced his training with his studies. The days were long and grueling, but he found solace in his new routine. He grew closer to his fellow campers, forming friendships that bolstered his spirit. Nyssa, now fully recovered, became one of his closest allies, offering support and encouragement whenever he doubted himself.

One evening, during a campfire gathering, Chiron called for everyone's attention. "Campers, I have important news. Summer is approaching, and with it, the return of a lot of our members. Your brothers and sisters." His voiced boomed throughout the camp.

As he finished his sentence there was instant whispers of a "Percy Jackson is coming back!" which confused Kalieth Moore, who was Percy Jackson why were people so excited for him to come back? He leaned towards Annabeth, "Annie..who's Percy Jackson..?" He asked with a curious look on his face, "Oh Percy..he came here last summer..Percy Jackson, Son of Poseidon." Annabeth says with a tone in her voice he had never heard before,

He observed her with he saw sadness in her face and decide not to press it more. "Who's this guy? Enough to make the great Annabeth get sad?" He thought, he decided he was going to ask Chiron about it when he gets the chance, so once the gathering is over he follows after Chiron.

"Chiron! Chiron!" Kalieth yelled trying to catch up with the half-horse half-man. "Kalieth Moore..! Training going well? What did you need young one?" Chiron said apprehension in his voice, for some reason everytime Kalieth talked to him he had seemed nervous, he never failed to help him, or give him tips. But he always sounded as if Kalieth could explode and blow up the camp with one little mistake.

Which maybe he could, If a prophecy said this random kid would destroy the one thing I've spent my life working on. I'd be scared too! But Kalieth kept on despite knowing Chiron is nervous. "Who's Percy Jackson..?" Kalieth asked before continuing, "I asked Annie about him but she only said she was the Son of Poseidon, which don't get me wrong is amazing. I'll finally have someone to relate to...I hope. But she got sad when talking about him." He finished looking to Chiron for an answer.

"Ahh...I'll have to talk to her about that..but..about around Summer time last year. Percy Jackson came to camp..he was what she needed..Annie had been longing for a quest since she got here..and either you or Percy Jackson was her scapegoat..obviously he got her before you." Chiron said taking a breath, "I won't say to much but the person she looked up too...she found out he was a traitor to the camp..and well..Percy Jackson was one of the reasons she found out...Annabeth may look fine..but you should understand best that the outside world doesn't know whats going on behind closed doors." Chiron says walking away, Kalieth is left there standing, how could he be so blind one of the people he trusted most was in the same situation as him and he was too blind to see it?
