C H A P T E R 18 ☆[First kiss...? or not]

as soon as aoi walked in she saw her friends standing infront of her, including her sister. she didn't feel like facing any of them at that moment she she tried to brush past them to go to her room but she was roughly pulled back . "what the FUCK were you thinking, fighting with ume really? since when do you even pick fights." kanao yelled at her causing aoi to roll her eyes "i didn't pick a fucking fight and even if i did it's literally none of your fucking business" "although it IS my business i'm your fucking sister! and what the hell do you mean 'you didn't pick a fight', did your fist just somehow slip across her face?" "it's called self defense." "oh so that's what you're calling it now? 'self defence'" "she literally BROKE MY FUCKING FINGER and slapped me across my face, did you expect me to sit there and do nothing? she was literally gonna hit me again if i didn't fucking punch her so quit acting like you know everything. and quit acting like mom while you're at it." "aoi that's not fair i was just trying to look out for you." "well STOP. i never asked you to fucking do that. now if you'll excuse me i'm going to my room" aoi said before storming off, she went to her bedroom and threw herself on her bed. it wasn't long before the tears started coming. aoi tried her best to keep her voice quiet cause she didn't need anyone's pity. but her plan failed cause a few minutes after someone knocked on her door.

"come in."the person that appeared behind the door was none other than inosuke, the reason all of this started. "what?"aoi said hiding her face behind her pillow "i've known you long enough to know you don't like talking about your problems, so i brought snacks and my laptop instead so we can watch movies."inosuke said slowly entering her room "unless you don't want that?" aoi smiled at him and made some space next to her and patted on it signalling him to come over.

they watched the first two fear street movies since horror movies are one of the many things they can both bond on, they hadn't realised how much time had passed since both movies combined were 3-4 hours long.
"fucking hell, it's already 1 am."inosuke said as he stood up from her bed and stretched, his shirt lifted up a bit causing aoi to stare and inosuke obviously noticed. instead of making a snarky remark he just stared back at her. aoi did the same although she wasn't exactly sure what to do next. but as soon as inosuke started getting closer to her aoi's bedroom door opened. revealing nezuko who was really distracted by her phone. "Hey aoi? have you seen inosu-.. oh."nezuko said as she looked up from her phone causing aoi to push inosuke away and sit up straight "was i.. interrupting something?" "NO! not at all.."aoi said with a hint of irritation in her voice, yet another kamado sibling who interrupted their moment. maybe it was a sign, either that they shouldn't be together or that they should speed things up. well whatever it was aoi didn't like it and she could tell inosuke didn't either. "the fuck do you want?"inosuke said with a scowl "tanjiro's looking for you, he's in the kitchen since he knows thats where you like to be" inosuke looked back at aoi  before walking out with nezuko. but just as he was about to close the door he stopped and signaled for her to come closer "this isn't over yet." aoi smiled at him one last time before kissing him on the cheek and quickly closing the door before they could both process what she did.
after that she decided to go to sleep since there wasn't much left for her to do that night

'aoi, wake up' 'aoi..?' "AOI." "WHAT THE HELL"aoi said as she looked over to the person that was screaming at her "oh it's you."she said climbing put of bed and gathering the stuff she needs for her morning shower. "what's that supposed to mean." "you know what i mean, now get out of my room kanao" " you're still giving me the cold shoulder?" "i don't have time for this right now"aoi said as she brushed past her and headed towards the bathroom. before kanao could catch up to her she went inside and locked the door behind her "uhm, aoi?" "oh god what the hell do you people want!" aoi yelled as she turned around to see a wet haired, half naked inosuke with just a towel around his waist. all those other times he was exposed was enough for aoi's knees to weaken, but this? she might've needed a wheelchair after this. "fucking hell."aoi accidentally said as she looked him up and down again just to take in every inch of what he currently looked like. "Are you just gonna stand there and keep staring?"inosuke said with a smirk "shut up! why is some part of you always exposed!" "i'd cover up but it seems you like me better this way princess"
"i do not!" "oh yeah? are you sure about that?"he said slowly walking towards her until her back was pressed against the wall. "what do you think you're doing?"aoi attempted to yell but her voice only came out in a whisper "i'm gonna finish what you started. im tired of restraining myself when i'm around you." "w-well who told you to do that?!" aoi said as she bent her head down to hide her blush, although inosuke held her chin and got her to look him in the eye "are you saying that you wanted me to do it?" "i mean.. i wouldn't have said no?" inosuke chuckled at that "you're really confusing you know aoi?" "yeah i get that a lot" she said leaning in closer. they both hesitantly stared at eachother. "fuck it." inosuke said before he crashed his lips against hers and started to kiss her, not roughly but passionately and affectionately with a hint of lust. and aoi kissed him back in the same way, they didn't stop breathe they just went at it at some point inosuke had picked aoi up and sat her down on the sink, the amount of times they got interrupted while they were about to kiss left them so hungry for eachother that when they actually did they forgot about everything else in the world. they didn't even realise that the bathroom looked like a fucking mess.

knock knock*

"hey is someone in there?" the voice was unclear and hard to make out. (heh, get it? 🌚)
aoi quickly pushed inosuke away and got back up on her feet "y-yeah i still have to shower" "aoi? i saw you enter the bathroom like an hour ago how are you not done yet!" the voice sounding a bit more clear now clearly belonged to nezuko "u-uuh i fell asleep!" "bullshit. unlock this door" "i can't.. i'm uhhh naked! yup very naked" inosuke accidentally let out a chuckle after aoi said that. "was that a guy..? AOI OPEN THIS DOOR."aoi glared at inosuke before she forced inosuke to turn around while she quickly took off her clothes and threw on a towel, she then reached for the doorknob and twisted the lock. as she opened the door she saw a rather confused and impatient nezuko standing at the door, with zenitsu a few steps behind her she attempted to distract nezuko so she wouldn't notice inosuke hiding behind the door
"can i help you?" "oh.. you really weren't lying?" "yeah.. oh! by the way, what do you guys want for breakfast. since i'm up at 8 anyways i figured i'd just quickly make something for all of us after my shower" aoi said as she attempted to change the subject
"oh my God can you PLEASE make pancakes. like the fluffy authentic american ones?" nezuko said, it was very easy for nezuko to get distracted if the topic was about food, especially sweet foods "ofcourse"aoi said as she smiled and ruffed up nezuko's hair a bit "hey! whatever just hurry up cause i'm covered in sweat!" nezuko said as she walked off smiling at the thought of eating pancakes, aoi then quickly closed and locked the door again. she then turned around and saw the mess they made "if i were you i'd quickly get out before someone sees us both in here half naked, i can't even begin to imagine what they'd think we did.." "i could" he said with a smirk "inosuke fucking hashibara!" "yes ma'am." "get out!"

the next day

aoi was walking towards her next class when she heard some commotion happening in the nearby classroom, she was curious to see what was going on so she decided to snoop but boy did she wish she didn't.
as she carefully peeked trough the doorframe she found ume pressed up against inosuke kissing him.
