Amyra's pov:

It was night and I was really tired because I haven't sleeped since 1 day and a few hours.

Onyx said this was a 2 days trip, so only one more day and I maybe found the rays of light.

Dawn must be on her way now too!

As I thought that I saw a dragon appear in the sky.

That's River!

River seemed to have spotted me and flew towards me.

He landed gracefully in front of me and Bud.

He lowered his body and off him jumped Dawn!

"Hey girly! How are you? " Dawn asked me

"I'm good! Besides the fact that I kissed Onyx.. " I told her.

"Aww honey that's so goo-" she started but quickly stopped herself

"You did WHAT!? "  she then yelled.

"I mean it's understandable that you did this because you have feelings for her since AGES! But WHAT!? " she continued yelling.

"My love. I think she gets it now. " River said.

"Yes. Listen to your husband." i said.

Both of them looked surprised.

"Right... I haven't told you. River goes by they/them now. " she told me.

They/them? I didn't know that was possible.

"Not to be disrespectful but what? " I asked.

Dawn smiled a little and was ready to explain.

"Well. They told us that they don't feel like a man. So we used she/her. But they didn't feel comfortable either. Sooo we said they/them. And as you can see. They feel comfortable" Dawn explained.

"Ohh! Okay! Well. Are they your partner then? Because husband is a male thing" I asked.

River nodded.

"Technaly yeah! " Dawn then said.

"Oh okay! How is Aria? " I then asked.

"She is doing well! Even though she is suffering because of the pregnancy... It's a little rough for her." River explained.

"Well glad that the due date is soon-" I said but then remembered something.

"Dawn. Do you really want to come with me? I mean your wife is about to give birth to your child soon... " I said.

"I am sure. I asked Xavier to give me a teleportation stone." She said.

"Oh! Glad he would do something like that! But how will you know she gives birth? " I asked.

I feel like a child who asks too many questions...

"Because of the dragon bound. When we find the people we love and marry we have a bound! So I can feel when she's giving birth. So don't worry about that Amyra. " Dawn explained with a smile.

We talked a bit when I then remembered a question.

"How can you guys be so happy together? I mean 3 people in a relationship? Most people have trouble keeping a relationship!" I asked.

Dawn looked at me in shock while River had a puzzled look on his face.

"I think it's because we are not most people. We are a couple thats different." River then answered and walked towards Dawn who stood besides me.
