Chapter 10

Onyx's: POV

I don't know what it is. But in the last 2 days something changed

I feel like I am free. I am my old self again! And I don't know why!

I finally realized what is going on!

I was mean to my people and they are deeply afraid of me... And I don't like it to be feared.

What is happening to me!?

I layed in my bed. With those thoughts.

What happened... I miss Amyra... But... The fear, anger... Sadness in her eyes are crushing me from the inside...

Its crushing me.

I got up and decided to take a walk through the castle.

As I walked through the castle I noticed that the maids are still active! Shouldn't they be sleeping by now!?

"Hey. What are you guys still doing this late? " I asked them.

They looked at me in horror....

"Queen Onyx!? W-w- we are sorry but your brother said that we aren't allowed to go to sleep unless we cleaned the whole castle! " the maid explained.

"My brother? Ahh forget it! Get all the maids and tell them that they should go to their room and sleep! " I said.

The maid now looked confused.

"Room? We don't have a room... Or a bed... " she said.

I was surprised! But then I remembered... The maids aren't allowed to sleep in beds...

"I am so sorry" I apologized.

The maid now looked panicked.

"Queen Onyx! An queen shouldn't be sorry for us low life! " she said.

I was even more sad now. But had an idea!

"How about all of you guys sleep in my room! It's not any better but I have two beds. A couch and some matrasses just laying around! " I said.

The maid is now surprised.

"Queen Onyx!?" She asked surprised.

"Go! And get the other maids! You all can sleep in my room! " I said and commanded.

The maid smiled. And so did the ones behind her.

"Well? What are you guys waiting for? " I asked.

They all ran to inform the others.

I went back to my room and waited.

As far I remember we have 100 maids. And I prepared my room for them.

I layed down matrasses every where! In every Conor and edge that was there. I also got some blankets and pillows.

I don't know if it will be enough. But it's good enough!

After a while I saw all the 100 maids enter my room.

They seemed nervous and a bit jumpy. Until they saw me. Only me. In the middle of my bed.

"Welcome lady's! You guys can choose where ever you want to sleep" I said.

Some of them smiled. Some of them where still sceptical about all of this.

But they all layed down. 3 on the second bed I have. And all of them on the floor.

I noticed how happy they all look now and how fast they fell asleep.
