chapter 3

Zeniel's pov:

I was asleep and dreaming. It was normal. On the cold hard floor.

But I then heard a voice calling out my name.

"Zeniel..... Zeniel... Zeniel! " I heard the voice say.

I opened my eyes and saw Seth who smiled right after I opened my eyes.

"Urg... Why are you waking me up- oh my god! Where is Kaida! " I instantly asked as I remember what happened yesterday.

I turned around and saw Kaida. Still sleeping. And half her face being a scar...

I then remembered that... Himanshu came down and healed her.

"Don't worry. Everyone in fine. And asleep. I only woke you up because it seemed that you had a badish dream?" Seth explained. Not sure which words to use.

I looked at him. Surprised that he still cares about others. While his fucking father just died!

"Are you okay? " I then asked him. I might make him cry but someting is seriously wrong with this guy!

He looked at me confused. And I continued.

"Why are you taking care of other people... While... Your father just died? " I asked him hesitant.

His confused face then turned sad.

"I was selfish enough for crying after his death. I should have helped you with healing or created a shield. But I cried after someone who died. Crying sadly doesn't bring anyone back. And you have it WAY worse then I do! " he then said.

I just looked at him in disbelief.

"Dude. You need help! " I said while sarcasticly laughing.

He smiled a little.

"Wanna take a walk outside? It's still night. But I love seeing the stars. " he then asked me.

"Seriously?.... Fine let's go" I answered.

I wanted to say no at first. But I thought that this might be a cry for help?

We walked outside the cave and he walked in front of me.

I followed him and after a while we stood near a river.

He looked around. Focusing the trees until he looked at one and he smiled softly.

I followed his sight and noticed a big tree! The biggest one around.

Why is he looking at that one?

He took my wrist and ran towards the tree.

"Huh? he-hey! " I yelled surprised.

We ran around the tree. Revealing a ladder that's nailed to the tree.

He let go of my wrist and claimed up the ladder.

He stopped to look down and see if I follow him.

"Wanna come up with me? We have a wonderful view over the night sky." He asked and smiled.

"Yes I will! Don't worry... " I answered nervous.

I don't know why but something about him makes me feel safe around him.

He smiled again and continued climbing the tree.

After he completely climbed up I started climbing too.

I reached the top. It was a tree house! But the tree crown was completely gone! Like it was burned off or something...

But you have a beautiful view over the night sky.
