That night, after spending the entire day raiding a froyo shop, shopping at the mall, and playing a small game of baseball at the school's baseball field, Aurellia slowly opened the door to Dev's room to check up on him. From where she was standing, it looked like he was sleeping peacefully. She sighed before she started to leave.

"Aurellia?" Dev asked, getting her attention.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you, little buddy" She apologized before making her way over to him.

"I couldn't sleep" he told her before he sat up.

"I can't stop thinking about my dad. Why is he so...terrible?" He asked as he hugged his knees.

The babysitter sighed. She asked herself that question about her own father all the time. Unfortunately, she didn't know the answer.

"Look, Dev. Though your dad can be a...uh...Jerk...all the time, he can truly never be a terrible person because he helped bring someone like you into the world" she told him.

He looked up at her with the biggest smile before he hugged her.

"Thank you."

"Your welcome."

Afterwards, he laid back down as she tucked him in.

"Aurellia, can you sing a lullaby?" He asked.

"I thought you were too old for lullabies?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Please~" he begged, giving her puppy eyes.

She giggled before she sat next to him. He smiled before he scooched close to her side (sorta like how Anna and Elsa did with their mom in frozen 2) and she started singing.

Come little children
I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment.
Come little children
The time's come to play
In my garden of shadows.

As she finished, she saw Dev asleep next to her.

"Buona notte, Dev" she whispered before placing a gentle kiss onto his forehead and leaving the room.

"Goodnight...*Yawn* ...mom."
