"Alright buckle up kiddo." Cross dry off Palette's hair with the towel. "Better?"

"... Better." Palette slowly nodded. "Are you related to Lux...? In any way...-" 

Palette can't lie, he was stunned to see Cross at first sight. He noticed the striking resemblance he has with Lux. 

He knew Lux is pretty much an illegitimate daughter that look nothing like Dream but this guy in behind him look awfully similar to her.

"Me relate to princess? That's really a good joke." He laughed, "I'm pretty sure it's just a big coincidence that we look alike."

"... Sure." Palette huffed as he took another bite of the cookie. 

"No problem." Cross smile faintly, "Just make sure to go back safely. Maybe don't tel the king about this place too."

"What? Is it illegal or something...?" Palette questioned. 

"I won't say it's illegal business... It's just me." Cross shrugged. "Crest, get back here! The kid need a company, I still need to clean up the kitchen!"

"Coming—!" Crescent came back from the storeroom. "Sorry, my wife asked me to get her stuff that she forgot." 

"Ah, it's alright." Cross nodded and patted Crescent shoulder. "Send my regards to her, take care of your wife and the baby." He said with a smile before entering the kitchen. 

Crescent went over to where Palette seated and he took a seat in front of him.

"I didn't know you have a wife..." Palette muttered. 

"Ah, not many know." Crescent slightly chuckles, "I like to keep my life a secret, I rather not have many people know me." 

'well shit, you're literally the high priest. You'll get a lot of attention.' Palette scoffed, taking a slight sip of the hot chocolate. 

Palette know he has to go home and pretended everything is fine. That's what he always do.

He has too.

He made a mistake by yelling at Merci. He need to he careful around him since Palette still don't know what triggered Mercy to become Merciless .

He sighed, he still need to buy a new phone. Perhaps he should've throw something sharp to that director.

'Nope...' Palette put both of his hand on his head  'Hero don't fucking kill people... Ugh, who the hell make that rule.' he frowns, thinking about the consequences if he ever try to kill someone.
