"Ugh... My back." Palette groaned. The bed feels like grass.
Wait grass?
Palette quickly get up, this is definitely not Reaper's home and today's definitely not first January. It's clearly 8th January instead of first... How..?
"How... I thought I'll be back at the first day...?" Palette muttered. "Did I die or not...-"
"Mister!!" Angst appeared from the thin air. "Mister you did it!" He give Palette a nice ghost hug. "You finished the first puzzle of the game!"
"Wait, wait! I'm confused, I got stabbed didn't I?" Palette was dumbfounded by this situation.
"Yeah but remember when I said this is like a game? A check point! As you finished the first puzzle, it doesn't matter if you die or not, you'll get to the next day which is now your check point!" Angst beamed. "Yay!!! You did it, now we can continue the game!" He is celebrating Palette's achievement.
"Then... Will anyone remember that I died yesterday?" Asked Palette.
"I don't know... But look, try to test your magic." Angst hold Palette's hand. "Do magic!"
"Uh... Light..?" A small light comes out from Palette's palm. "... HUH?!?"
"Yay! This may look little but the more you collect and fix everything, you'll get your full power in no time!" Angst giggles. "I can't wait!"
"Huh... Magic." Palette slightly smile, "ouch, I still can feel the pain-"
"It's okay mister." Angst patted his back. "Go back to the castle and eat some food, make sure not to get near Lux or else I won't be able to help you.."
"Alright..." Palette nodded as his stomach began to growl. "Okay I'm hungry now, it won't be bad to go back... I want to eat lemon pudding...-"
