                                      ZAYAN

I was at my gym. I did my pushups first, followed by running. Then I noticed a female across from me staring through window glasses. At first, I assumed it was approaching from behind, but then I discovered she was looking at me.
She tried to take my pics. Sam mocked me, saying, "Look at Zayan, your new lover." I felt humiliated, but also smiled. She was adorable, with her baby face and innocent expression.

I barely took a quick peek, but she was mesmerising. She wore a short dark maroon gown with trousers and a white scarf folded around her neck; her open hair looked stunning against her white face. When I stared at her, she became embarrassed and she left.

We take some time to recharge after the gym. In the gym, Sam got into a fight with someone. Sam was innocent; the boy who attacked him was intoxicated. So we resolved the issue and reassured Sam.

We left for a local eatery. When I entered, I noticed the girl sitting alone and thinking about something. After a while, she was gazing at her phone.

I couldn't take my eyes off her; she was very lovely. In that open cafe, she shines like a ray of sunshine. "Look, that girl, she's too pretty," Monty said, glancing at her. I'm not sure why I excused myself by saying, "She is someone I know; excuse me".

When I initially spoke with her, I remembered seeing her earlier and thinking about the day I rescued her with a dog, the girl. I was in a rush at the time and did not notice her beauty.

When I saw her up close, she was extremely beautiful when she lied to me; perhaps she didn't, but my gut instinct was that she lied about her commitment.
I wished she had lied to me, I wanted her to be single. She was savage and hilarious, and her personality was overly attentive. I began to feel attracted to her.

                                       SARAH

It was Sunday, and there seemed to be a festival coming up; everyone was busy getting ready, whether it was for the market or travelling on trailers. Everyone in the hostel is making an effort to have the most attractive appearance possible.

Girls, of course, refer to their self-obsession with beauty and their entitlement to perpetual beauty. I didn't want to go to the evening party, but I had to since everyone insisted, and I didn't want to let them down.

I wore a basic gown the colour of a golden peach, I applied eyeliner and a light shade of lipstick in the hue of baby pink. I had on a necklace made of small, glistening beads. To me, it looked fantastic.

I always thought I looked well, and I was proud of the way I looked.

We left for the party at around six o'clock in the evening. It was at Sam's place, the party. He was a buddy of Jiya's boyfriend. The party exceeded my expectations in size, with exquisite décor throughout.

Jiya was among the minimum of eight individuals from our hostels who received an invitation. Everybody's eyes were on us when we walked in. It was empty of people. I looked down because I had no idea who any of them were. Line by line, Jiya gave us an introduction to her partner.

"And she is my beloved Mam, she is two years older than me. She is too pretty and cute, isn't she?" When she introduced me, I didn't know why I felt shy.

Her boyfriend said courteously, "Of course, hello, welcome."

"Thank you, and happy birthday," I said, grinning, handing him a gift package.

Sam calls out in the background, "Come everyone, let's go in the hall."

There were a lot of his friends and family standing there when we entered the hall.
