I stir, my mind groggy and disoriented, as my phone vibrates on the nightstand.
I reach for it, my movements slow and sluggish, and see that Rosy has sent me a message.
"How are you feeling?"
"Is Sarah still with you?"
My heart skipped a beat as I remembered the last time I saw Sarah, her face full of fear and concern as I slipped into unconsciousness.
I sit up, wincing in pain, I feel a wave of panic and fear wash over me as I realize that where is Sarah?
"No," I think, my mind racing with horror and disbelief, when I thought what if someone kidnapped her ?"No, this can't be true."

I call Rosy, my voice shaking with emotion.
"Rosy, is Sarah not with you? Then where is she?
"I need to find her," I think, my heart pounding with urgency. "I need to find her and make sure she's okay."
I rush out of the house, my eyes scanning the street for any sign of Sarah.
I call out her name, my voice echoing through the empty streets, but there is no response, no sign of Sarah anywhere. I run through the streets, my breath coming in ragged gasps as I search for Sarah.
I check the places where we used to hang out and the spots where we used to meet.
I ask the people we know if they've seen her, my voice growing more desperate with each passing moment.
But there is no sign of Sarah, no trace of her existence anywhere.
I slump against a wall, my eyes stinging with tears as I realize that she is gone.

Then Sam suggested me to check the CCTV.
As I search through the CCTV footage, my heart skips a beat as I see Sarah and Jessy together on my lawn. Determined to find out what happened, I confront Jessy.

"Where is Sarah?" I demand with anger and desperation. "What did you do to her?"
Jessy shakes her head,
"I didn't do anything," she insists, her voice trembling with fear. "I don't know where she is".

I glare at Jessy, my hands balled into fists as I struggle to control my rage.
"I know you're lying," I say in a low and dangerous voice. "You were the last one to see her. Tell me what you did."

Jessy shrinks back, her eyes darting around the room as she searches for an escape.
"Please," she begs in a pleading tone, "I don't know anything...I just chatted with her in the store room".

My blood runs cold as Jessy admits to locking Sarah in my store room. I slapped her hard.

"Why?" I demand, shaking with rage,  "Why would you do something like that?"
Jessy, her face pale and haunted, meets my gaze with wide, frightened eyes.
"I was jealous," she confesses and ashamed, "I didn't want you to be with Sarah.

As the truth sinks in, I feel a wave of rage and disgust wash over me. That's why I broke up with her after dating for two weeks. I always felt uneasy about her.

"You could have killed her," I say with emotion and anger, "Do you have any idea what you've done?"   If something bad happened to her, I'll kill you".
Jessy's face full of remorse and regret, shakes her head.
"I'm sorry," she trembling with fear. "I didn't mean to hurt her.

I race back to my house, my heart pounding with fear and desperation.
As I open the door to the store room, the sight that greets me is one of horror and despair.
Sarah, her body bruised and bloodied, lies motionless on the floor.
I stumble forward, my hands reaching out to touch her, my voice a choked sob.
"Sarah," I whisper, my heart breaking as I realize it's too late.

As I pick up Sarah's limp body, my heart heavy with grief and despair, I know that there is no hope. But I can't give up.
I race to the hospital, my arms cradling Sarah's lifeless form as I shout for help.
The doctors rush her into the emergency room, but I know, deep down, that it is too late.

I collapse in the waiting room, my body wracked with sobs as I come to terms with the devastating truth.

Sarah is gone.
