The hooligan admitted too quickly that it wasn’t a real kiss and his lips only touched his cheek.

Ray was dumbfounded and suspected that maybe he was overreacting. He could only eat the hidden loss and glare at Sand. Ray was tense as he got into the car and snorted at Sand.

But in Sand’s eyes, it was very amusing and he was happy to be snorted at.

When they first got together, Ray was only eighteen years old and was very thin-skinned and obedient. After just one kiss outside, he became very shy.

The stretch of road leading out of the high-speed rail station was always congested and now that it was evening and had just rained, the roads were even more packed. The long line of cars crawled forward slowly like ants.

Listening to Sand’s music playing in the car, Ray was bored and cut it off, switching to a radio station instead. Listening to the comedic dialogue, he was entertained and soon completely forgot about the ‘indecent assault’ from just now.

Sand had one hand placed on the steering wheel and when he heard Ray burst into laughter, he glanced sideways at him.

Because the mountains were cold, Ray wore a small blue-collar shirt with long sleeves. When he raised his hand, the plain white wrist revealed a trace of red. Warm and lustrous, a section of the red beaded bracelet was revealed. It was wrapped three times and was hanging loosely from his wrist.

His heart turned a little as he recalled that he had also given Ray a red agate bracelet.

When he gave it to him, his mind was filled with impure intentions, so now that he saw a similar accessory appear on Ray, he couldn’t help but be vigilant.

When they arrived at Siam Square, Ray naturally wanted to pick up Chico.

After not seeing his father for a few days, Chico ran out from his kennel to greet him. In his mouth, he was holding something to please Ray.

Ray took a closer look and thought, oh, isn’t this Sand’s marathon medal? It doesn’t deserve any preferential treatment at all.

He looked up at Sand while rubbing Chico.

Sand’s expression was calm as he said, “He likes it so let him play with it.”

Seeing that Ray didn’t accept the toy, Chico happily picked it up and ran around.

He was very familiar with Sand’s house now and also clearly regarded this place as his territory as he jumped onto the low sofa, and automatically picked up a small orange cushion and flopped onto it.

Ray was in a complex mood, feeling like the son he had raised single handedly was now being affectionate with his ex-husband.

And this “ex-husband” wasn’t aware of his thoughts as he entered the kitchen to wash his hands and came out asking if he wanted to eat a late night snack.

“I made shrimp congee, and also bought roasted chicken rolls, yam pastry and crispy chicken wings,” Sand looked at him gently. “Why don’t you eat before you go?”

He had just gone to the kitchen to heat the shrimp porridge and Ray was standing beside the kitchen so the warm and inviting aroma wafted in the air, making his heart waver.

He had dinner early today but it had already finished digesting.

Ray pondered for three seconds before he choose to defect to the enemy side with his son, “Eat.”

Sand then entered the kitchen to prepare the food.

Ray behaved like a perfect guest and sat on the seat arrogantly while waiting with no intention of helping out.
