Since they were going camping, he had to find a place for his precious Chico.
Ray had plenty of experience in this area. Before driving to the camp, he instructed Sand to take a detour to the pet clinic he was familiar with.
Today, there were few people in the hospital and it was bright and spacious. The little sister at the reception joined the doctors and nurses to watch a TV show. They were amused by the mindless plot and ridiculed, "Do scriptwriters even use their brain nowadays? Hahahahaha."
Screenwriter Ray felt that he had been shot innocently in the knee.
He went up with Chico in his arms and smiled. "Dr Naan, I'll have to trouble you to take care of my Chico for two days."
Chico was also familiar with this place and lay in Ray's arms obediently. He was neither upset nor uncomfortable, and his round black eyes were glistening.
Dr Naan looked up and was pleasantly surprised to see Ray. He felt that he hadn't seen him for a long time. The last time he saw him, Ray had brought Chico for a grooming session.
After all, the person was his secret crush and if he didn't see him for one day, it was equivalent to not seeing him for three autumns. Rounding it up, he hadn't seen Ray for a century.
He had just smiled and was about to smile when he saw the unfamiliar man walking beside Ray. He was tall and handsome, very different from Ray.
He had a cold temperament but he looked at Ray with gentle eyes.
He held out his hand to Chico and the little Corgi with a round butt jumped from Ray's arms.
Dr Naan's eyes changed suddenly and he looked at the unfamiliar man with scrutiny.
The man also locked eyes with him. As soon as his eyes left Ray, they became cold. After sweeping him for a second, he turned away without interest.Ray was completely unaware of the raging storm in Dr Naan's heart. While signing the accommodation pass as usual, he chatted with the receptionist at the front desk.
Hearing that Ray was going camping, the receptionist at the front desk gasped in shock and envy. Propping her chin, she looked at Sand beside Ray and asked with a smile, "Are you going with this handsome man?"
Ray glanced at Sand. "En, just for two days. I'll pick up Chico soon."
Hearing this, Sand showed his first smile since entering the vet clinic.
The formalities were quickly completed and Ray handed Chico to the nurse and patted his head. "Good boy, dad will pick you up in two days."
Chico licked his palm and barked at Sand once.
Sand also patted Chico on the back, "Your dads are going on vacation, bye bye."
He was heartless and completely indifferent to giving up his son. It was like the relief parents felt when they threw their children into school.
Ray rolled his eyes at him but didn't refuse when he wrapped a hand around his shoulder. The two of them walked out of the vet clinic together.
And behind them, Dr Naan's heart shattered into pieces all over the floor.
He wasn't deaf, he clearly heard Sand say "Dads."
The little nurse and the receptionist both looked at him sympathetically and patted him on the shoulder. "There are no herbs at the end of the world. Not to mention...That person, he seems to be a good match for him."
Dr Naan was even more disheartened.
He also knows! He didn't need them to tell him!
After leaving the vet clinic, Sand drove to the suburbs. He bought a lot of snacks and put them in the car. They hadn't reached the campsite yet but Ray had already started munching away on a bag of chips.
