ROOK
It's been two weeks since Phoenix moved in and it's been great. She and Edith have become best friends. When I come home, I usually find them both in the kitchen, giggling like schoolgirls. I'm glad she has someone to talk to. I wave hello to them as I go upstairs to change so I can work out in my gym before dinner.
There have been times I've caught Phoenix looking at me when I step out of my gym. For the first few days I would work out in my shorts and t shirt but after an intense work out a few days ago, I took off my shirt and was wiping the sweat off me when I bumped into Phoenix in the hallway and I swear I saw her lick her lips as her eyes roamed my body. Needless to say, after that I made it a point not to wear a shirt around the house after that encounter.
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling the effects of sexual frustration. Just yesterday she was wearing these tight shorts and t shirt while she was doing laundry. She dropped a sock and bent over to pick it up. Her ass was ripe for the grabbing and it took herculean strength on my part to walk away. Did I jerk off to that imagine in the shower later that night? You beat your ass I did. Fuck, I don't know how much longer I can take this. Some nights, I just want to pounce on her and feast off her body. She's smart, gorgeous, funny and can cook. I feel like I hit the perfect woman jackpot. Since her first night here, she hasn't made a jab about my past sex life.
Having dinner together has been hard since I've been working late but the nights we do, we talk about our past. She did mention she was divorced but when I asked more questions, she shut me down. That topic will have to be revisited another day. I did open up and tell her about my mom and my tattoo in her memory. She told me she had read about the accident, so she knew what the news reported. I just recently found out that Bishop was on the phone with my mom until the very end so that explained her nightmares. I wish she would have told me sooner so I could have helped her through it. I'm glad she has Tristan to help her through it.
Tonight is movie night. We're going to watch something on TV and relax. No, it won't be a Netflix and chill kind of night. Well, I hope it will be but I'm not gonna push.
By the time I finish with my shower and go downstairs, Edith had already left for the night so it's just me and Phoenix. I just threw on a pair of grey sweatpants and at the last minute I reluctantly put on a t shirt. Can't be too obvious.
"I hope you don't mind but I ordered us a pizza," Phoenix says as I walk into the kitchen.
I try not to pout because I was actually looking forward to another home cooked meal. She's been spoiling me by making my favorite meals and desserts. I've increased my work out regimen to compensate. Totally worth it. "Sure."
She's wearing yoga shorts that hug her ass and a loose-fitting t shirt that's riding up showing me her waist as she reaches for the paper plates. She's just so damn tiny, it's adorable. I have to adjust myself before I walk in. These sweatpants are comfortable but when I'm hard, it leaves very little to the imagination. "Let me get that," I offer as I get behind her. Trapping her between me and the counter. Did I do that on purpose? Fuck yeah. I actually feel her go stiff but not before she shivers. "You ok?" I whisper in her ear. Her body against mine feels so good. Too good. I take a quick whiff of her peachy scent. It's like a drug addiction. One sniff and I'm hard.
She just nods her head as I slowly back away with the plates. I do hear her take a deep breath and let it out slowly, holding on to the counter. The phone in my pocket vibrates. I get a text from Felix letting me know the pizza is here, so I give him the special code of the day for deliveries. It changes from day to day.
