Ace and I have a day off do we decide to visit the new Littles park in our area, I heard it's quite big and has many equipments for littles to play around.

So we get up early in the morning and I clothe and feed Ace then pack a bag for his necessary stuff.

Ace's bouncing on his heels, excited and giddy to be at the park and play. It's endearing to see him excited to be out in the open, so confident and beautiful. I guess the therapy is working. I'm just glad that my boy's happy.

I hope he finds a friend there as well, compnay of other littles may help him more to accept his identity.

"Mama, huwwy!" He calls, standing by the main door with his shoes already on.

As I fetch the bags and keys, I hurriedly put on my own shoes. When my eyes land on his feet, I have to stifle a laughter from bursting out.

He's got wrong shoes on his both feet.

I bend down, removing his shoes as he pouts, not liking me undoing his work.

"I do well." He emphasizes.

"I know, baby." I agree, still chuckling a little. "I'm sure you did your best."

He grins when I'm done tying his laces and get the bags again, ushering us out of the house and locking the door behind.

We get in the car and drive to the park, Ace keeps tapping his fingers along the window, peeking his eyes out of it to spot random trees, shrieking whenever he finds a dog or cat and point them to me, and I have to say something to let him know I've seen them and praise them as well.

I can't even profess in words just how amazing it feels to see him so carefree and comfortable, I wish this smile never vanishes off his pretty face.

We finally arrive at the park, and Ace jumps out as soon as I unbuckle him. He tries to run off but I hold his wrist tightly, keeping him close as we walk to a peaceful spot, under a tree, and I spread a picnic blanket on the grass.

"Okay, baby. You can go play but always stay within my eyesight." I instruct firmly.

"Pwomise, mama!" He swears on his Adam's apple, I lightly pat his butt as he scrambles off to the slides.

I put the bag and basket of food aside, then relax with my back leaning against the tree trunk. I take a book out of my bag and begin reading, once in a while peeking my head up to make sure Ace's alright and no one's messing with him.

"Hey." I look up at the sound of a voice and see a man, possibly in his late 20s, approaching me. Brown hair, brown eyes. Average looking.

"Hi?" I frown a little, not sure if I know him. Putting my book aside, I sit up straight.

"I'm Sam, and that's my little over there." He points to the direction of Ace and another girl playing together. "Jia. And I assume he's yours?"

I relax a little realizing he's here just to be friendly, and smile softly.

"Yeah, that's Ace. I'm Thea. Please, have a seat." I offer.

"Seems like our littles get along pretty well." He smiles.

I watch Ace fondly for a minute, hearing his laughter bounce in the air as he chases after Jia, throwing his head back every time she pokes her tongue out at him.

"They do. I'm really glad he's made a friend. It hasn't been easy for him." I sigh.

"How come?" He leans back on his palms, a slight crease on his bushy brows.

"It's been tough," I chuckle. "Accepting his classification. But we're doing good now."

"That's nice. Did you get the certificate yet?" He asks.
