Ace has been a real good baby through the whole movie, didn't bother me at all, in fact he kept me awake every time I was about to fall asleep. I don't know why I kept dozing off, I wasn't that tired. Anyway, as long as Ace is happy, I'm glad.

When the movie was over, we went to the food court to get some food. I asked a high chair for Ace, he didn't refuse and it warmed my heart to see him coping so well being out in the open.

"Nana, wook." He points to something on the menu, dad peeks with pretend intrgue, "Wow! That looks yummy." He gasps. "Do you want one?"

"Es! Wan' two!" He holds up three fingers, dad laughs and ruffles his hair fondly.

"I'll get the orders." Dad says and gets up.

"Don' fowge' the coco chips!" Ace reminds, a bit yelling.

"Got it, buddy." Dad responds.

"Baby, we can't be so loud, okay?" I softly scold.

His cheeks redden in embarrassment as he nods. "Sowwy, mama."

"It's okay." I smile and kiss his cheek.

While waiting for dad, I hand Ace his sippy cup so he can drink some water. From the corner of my eyes, I spot a couple pre-teens two tables away from us, snickering and whispering while staring at Ace. My blood boils, but thankfully Ace doesn't notice. I'd hate it if those assholes ruined my baby's mood.

"Here comes the food!" Dad makes an aeroplane sound and places the tray of food on the table. A waiter helps him bring in another tray and Ace giggles happily.

"You got a little sunshine here." The waiter says, smiling sweetly at Ace.

"Thank you." I beam at him, whenever someone praises or says sweet stuff to my baby, my heart feels full.

I attempt to cut up the burger for Ace but dad beats me to it, making tiny pieces so it's easier for Ace to eat without making a mess of himself. As I take a bite out of my own burger, I can't help but notice how those kids are still snickering at Ace. If my little boy wouldn't be watching, I'd have gone over to their table by now and strangle the life out of their bodies.

Fuckers.

"Mama, washroom." Ace says when he's done with half of his burger. He has had two slushies already, so his diaper must be wasted by now.

"Okay, come on." I lift him out of the chair and pick him up, nodding at dad, I carry him to the special washroom designed for littles.

As I lay him down on the changing table and unstrap his diaper, the door opens and in comes the boys from earlier. Ace abruptly sits up, and I shield him with my body.

"Did you not see the 'do not enter' sign outside?" I ask, furrowing my brows in annoyance.

One of them clicks his tongue, "Don' care. We wanted to see the man-baby over there. Look at him all grown up in a diaper, pathetic."

My blood boils as I feel rage surging in my veins.

"Excuse me, you mannerless boy, get the fuck out of here. You haven't gotten your classification done yet, maybe you will be a little as well. Then we'll see." I spit out.

His face hardens as he glares at us. Ace whimpers, gripping the back of my shirt.

"I'll never be a fucking wimp. I wonder how does it feel to be such a burden to someone, always nagging and slinging off their shoulders. Poor you, can't even go potty without mommy. What's the point in being an adult then? Maybe if this stupid classification didn't exist, lives of many would've been a lot easier."
