Chapter 4 The White Mask

Spartan Sierra-121 was observing the enemy covertly from the dark alley near the university, located to the west of their current position.

He, the Rainbow Operators took cover behind a three-story building and proceeded to count the number of white terrorists wearing masks.

The only other problem was that the enemies were dispersed throughout the city of New York, even though the Spartan and people from the twenty-first century could handle them quite as fast as they wish. Unfortunately, it did not mean it would be easy for them, for the Spartan understood that very well.

Then not a moment later, velvin-121 and the six rainbows, as well as the civilian rebels took their chances, as they ran for the other part of a building across from their previous hiding spot.

"Okay, so what's the plan of attack?" Finka says looking between the civilian rebels and ash all the while as some were glancing at an exact place where their armored compadre is looking at.

Before ash could've spoken, she first looked at the velvin and asked what it is that is on his mind at the time. "Spartan, tell me what you got?"

He heard her walked forth and looked down at parchment map that one of the people had brought out of their backpack.

"I'm assuming that's a map of that university?" Velvin asked as he could see some outlines of the building.

One of the civilian rebels, a boy of dirty blonde hair and farm like outfit hearing the giant spoke up in response. "It is, I'm one of the students that goes to that university. I was just in the library studying construction labor, until you know, the terrorists attacked New york."

Nodding in appreciation to the youngster, ash was pleased to have someone bring with himself an exact replication of the university's building. She took in each sight of none important rooms, nonetheless, that does not mean she was disregarding some others.

One if which was a room, one that a fellow rainbow and most of the civilians captured by the white masks was currently being held in as hostages.

"We need to form up a plan of attack... We can't just walk infront of those guards and expect to be alive." Uttered blitz as he glanced down at the blueprint of the building.

"How many doors does these building have. Perhaps we could help break in through without being spotted by them." Frost added in arms crossed all the while she thought of a plan.

"There's at least a few hundred of the white masks within the building." Buck pondered correct in his thought on the matter. "The other rainbows are spread out in new york, working in thwarting other crucial work of these terrorists... We are the only ones close to the main source of the gas responsible for spreading their poisonous clouds in the city."

With a simple shift from the quiet spartan, the group remained silenced as the the armored man stopped between ash and finka. "Then our best option at the moment is to take out the threat in and out of the university, once that is done, we can shut down whatever is spreading the gas."

"As easy as that may sound like, how exactly do you suppose we infiltrate the building... That place is heavily packed with white masks terrorists. Not only that, but they will try to use their hostages as leeway?" One of the civilian rebels says questioning the spartan.

Velvin stared at the man causing the poor fellow to show a clear sign of apprehension as he tried to ease the tension. "I can draw attention to myself, while doing that, yall can can sneak into the building."

The entire group stared at the spartan incredulously thinking he was dunce for his incoherent words.

"Forgive me spartan, but in case you've forgotten, there's more of them then there are us. And besides. All of the main doors of the university is probably blocked off by the white masks... We can't just expect the enemy to be stupid enough in leaving it alone?" Says one of the civilian rebels.
