Carly's pov

I just got home from school after being suspended again. Honestly school is so draining I'm just getting in trouble to hope the notice something is wrong and I'm not just acting up.
About an hour later at 1pm I hear the front door close. That would be my mum bc my dad left when I was 8.
"CARLY" your mum shouts and you get out of bed and go downstairs.
"Yes mum" you say quietly scared of her shouting at you.
"Why did you get suspended this time" she said and you could hear the anger in her voice.
"Basically I was in lesson and I felt really sick I asked to go toilet the teacher said no so I walked out and refused to go isolation" I said knowing I felt sick becuase I haven't ate in 2 days.
"Carly why did you feel sick" my mum said with her tone more comforting.
"I dunno I just felt sick" isay knowing she knows im lying.
"Carly why haven't you been eating again" she said and i thought shit.
"I have i just felt sick" I said hoping she falls for it.
"Okay peopel from work are coming round later okay" she said and looked at me suspiciously. I nodded and ran to my room I grabbed my Pandora box and grabbed out a couple blades.
I then grabbed a small hand bag I chucked blades, tissue, plasters, bandages and a small bag of weed in there along with a lighter.

I ran downstairs and shouted.
"IM GOING OUT WITH MEGAN(Carly's bsf)LOVE YOU BYE" and I walked out the door.
I walked quickly to the abandoned house about 20 minutes away from my house. I knew noone would be there becuase my mum owned it and it still had working doors and windows we just didn't use it and she refused to put it up for sale.
I walked in and unlocked the door because I always had the keys on me because it was my safe space and my mum knew that.
I went to the living room where it had a sofa and a table specifically for when I go there.

I sat on the sofa and got everything out my bag.
I grabbed the weed and rolled a joint. I smoked it till it was gone then put it out on the glass plate on the table.
I grabbed my blades and pulled up my sleeve.
I looked at my scars and fresh cuts and thought
"Why can't anyone just realise how much I'm struggling with school I can barely keep myself alive and they aren't fucking noticing" and after I sliced my arm multiple times.
I cut until my arm was numb and had no more space to cut. So I moved to my next arm and sliced from my wrist to just below my shoulder the same I did with my other arm.
Then I heard keys turn in the door fuck my mum had found me and right in the moment of the door unlocking the weed started to kick in.
Shit.

Autumns PoV

"IM GOING OUT WITH MEGAN LOVE YOU BYE" I heard Carly shout and I smiled until my smile dropped. Megan was on holiday for 2 weeks.
I grabbed my phone and rang Reece, Marjorie and mia.
I asked them all to help me look. I grabbed my car keys and left.
I suddenly remembered the abandoned house I owned and how that's always Carly's safe space.
But Mia had the keys because I had them when we were out drinking and dropped them but forgot to get them from mia so I rang her.
Autumn- Mia abandoned house now
Mia- why
Autumn- that's Carly's safe space now fucking hurry up I'm nearly there I need to know my daughters okay
Mia- okay I'm coming I'm pulling up now
I ended it.
Mia pulled in and I ran up to her and snatched the keys out of her hand and ran tithe door unlocking it and running straight to the living room. Mia quickly behind.
My daughter was there stinking of weed and covered in blood. You started crying but held it together becuase Carly needed you more.
"Carly my love I'm here I'm here" I pulled her into a hug and felt her blood soaking through my white shirt and her tears seeping through my shoulder.
"Mummy" she whimpered as she sobbed.
Mia sat next to her and rubbed her back.
Carly pulled away and saw mia.
"Mimi" she cried and fell onto Mia's shoulder.
Mia held her whilst she sobbed and I looked around the room. Multiple used joints on a plate blades, blood and bloody tissues everywhere some of the stuff here looked months old. I heard Carly's sobs die down and she sat up.
"Mia go call Marjorie and Reece and tell them she's safe and we are at the house" you said she nodded and walked away.
"Carly my love I need to clean these then we can talk okay" she nodded and pointed to her bag.
I looked in the bag and there was bandages wipes and stissues perfect.
I wiped her arms and bandaged them from shoulder to wrist leaving a gap near the elbow so she could bend her arms.
"School I hate it I find it draining and these peopel in six form are bullying me so I cut and smoke" she simply says and stands up.
"Home" she says
I stand up and wrap my arm around her shoulders and walked outside to see Reece Marjorie and mia looking at us worriedly.
"Cars my house now" i say and walk to my car.
I buckle Carly in and she falls asleep.

Carly's PoV

I fell asleep thinking maybe life has a chance maybe I'll get better I might be okay.
I smiled to myself knowing I was fake sleeping.
Maybe there finally is light at the end of the tunnel.
