Ellie's PoV
I was in school right now 10 minutes till the end up the day. My arm was stinging as the bandage kept rubbing my arm. I tried to ignore it but the stinging was getting worse. Then the bell rang I got up and ran out the classroom and went straight to the toilet.

I pulled my sleeve up and realised that the bandage was soaked through with my blood.
I quickly took the bandage off and re wrapped my arm in a new bandage.
I walked out the toilet and straight out of the school.
I started walking towards my mums nursery.
I got there after 20 minutes. I walked in and realised my skirt had started unrolling so I re rolled it and made sure my sleeves were pulled down.

I walked into the office and saw my mum Marjorie and a redhead who i didn't know.
"Hi mum hi Marjorie" I said and set next to my mum.
"Hi darling how was school" my mum asked.
"What is the point in asking that you know I hate it" I said looking at the redhead and realised it was mia. My mum always talked about growing up with her.
"You must be mia my mum talks about you quite abit saying how you uncle Reece and her grew up together" I said hoping she doesn't realise how drained I looked because my mum always said she was very observant.
"You must be Ellie your mum talks about you a lot aswell" she said looking at me the my arm I looked down and realised my sleeve had rolled up abit and you could see some of my cuts so I pulled my sleeve down.
"Why don't I get your number so I could get to know you more outside of autumns work" she said and I smiled knowing she wasn't going to point it out infront of everyone. I pulled my phone out of my blazer pocket and showed her my number and she added my number and saved it to her contacts.
"Ellie if you want since mia has already said how she has no plans tonight do you want to go round hers" my mum said and I smiled.
Mia also looked at me and smiled.
"Okay" I said going on my phone and opened my Snapchat notifications and replied to them.
"Okay Ellie you ready to go" mia said.
"Yes bye mum i love you" I said and hugged her .
"I love you too pumpkin have fun" she said and me and Mia walked out.

Mia's PoV
We were walking out the office but I couldn't help but worry about Ellie she's only 12 and year8 and the cuts on her wrist I saw were deep and I know she knew I saw because she pulled her sleeve down.
We got in my car and drove back to my house.
I knew I was going to meet her today because autumn told me so I had some stuff for her.
We pulled up to my house and we got out the car ellie with her bag and fixing her skirt because it was wonky.
We sat down and Ellie started fidgeting with her sleeves.
"Ellie what was on your wrist" I asked hoping I didn't startle her.
"Don't play dumb you know what it is" she said back.
"I do but how long" I asked hoping it wasn't over a year because by now it will most likely be an addiction.
"January" she said and I sighed in reliefs it hasn't been that long then she said something else. "2023" I looked at her she would have been year6 she would've been 10.
"Ellie I'm so sorry you would've been 10 it's been 2 years why did you do it" I asked hoping I wasn't being to confrontational.
