Miss browns PoV

I held mia whilst she was sobbing into my shoulder. How come I didn't know she was struggling this bad I talk to her everyday.
Mia pulled away and said "miss I don't even want to be alive anymore" I took me by surprise but there was one question I had to ask "Mia have you ever attempted suicide" I was scared for the answer.
"Once I tried to overdose but it didn't work it was 6months ago since then I've constantly thought about it" she said then her phone went off. She looked at me and I nodded. She pulled her phone out and read the notification.
"Miss did you find autumn before me" she asked and I nodded "yes I did I put her in isolation" Mia smirked.
"Well she's just messaged me saying she's just walked out" I shook my head Ofcourse she would walk out.
"Anyway 6 months ago mia why didn't you come to me I could've helped I know that I'm your favourite teacher because you always behave for me and don't behave for any ober teacher" I said and she looked and me and smiled.
"I've been wanting to talk to you for months I think years maybe but I didn't know how" she said and her eyes started prickling with tears.
"Mia is there something you not telling me" I said softly as she looked up at the ceiling to stop her tears flowing.
"H-he raped m-m-me" she stuttered and I looked at her in shock.

Mia's PoV
"H-he raped m-m-me" I stuttered and looked at miss brown as her face turned into a shocked expression.
"Who did mia" she asked and pulled me into another hug.
"Roger. autumn and reeces dad" I said through sobs.
"Mia I have to report this" my face dropped as she said that.
"Miss no no please you can't he'll kill me" I said panicking.
"Mia it's okay calm down mia breathe" she said but I couldn't I was panicking I stood up and backed into the corner. My breathing erratic my heart pounding my eyes watering.
I curled into a ball trying to make myself as small as possible.
"Mia breathe okay in through you nose out through your mouth. Welldone" she said and I copied what she was doing.
After a couple minutes I calmed down.
"Do you want to sit in my office for the rest of the day I don't have anymore lessons and I don't have anything else to do but I have a meeting in here in 20 minutes so if I give you headphones will you be able to sit in here" she said and I nodded.
"Okay the teachers in the meeting is the headteacher, deputy headteacher it's only them  but they'll probably ask why your here should I might have to tell them about the self harm so they don't make you go back to lesson" I nodded my eyes filling up with tears but I knew my headteacher had to know. She gave me a pair of headphones and I put them on and started blasting my music. I felt movement near me and saw the deputy and headteacher walk in.

Miss browns PoV

"Hi sir" I said to the headteacher.
"May I ask why is mia in here" he asked looking at me.
"Basically she was skipping lessons so I went to find her I asked her to unlock the door she didn't so I uncooked it she was sat on the bathroom floor and her arm was bleeding" he looked confused "she was selfharming so I brang her in to chat and she's going to stay here we can still have the meeting but it's in here because after the state I found her in I don't want her to be in her own" I said and they both nodded.
20 minutes later the meeting was finished and they walked out shutting the door behind them.
I went over to mia and gently tapped her on the shoulder.
"Mia you okay" I asked and she nodded.
"Miss if I you didn't find out today I probably would've been dead" she said and I was shocked "what do you mean Mia" I think I knew what she meant.
"I had an attempt planned I had the notes written a time set everything miss" she said and she looked up at the ceiling to stop herself from crying again.
"Mia I'm so sorry"
