Matthew ran over to the courtyard and playfully scares one of the little boys playing in the courtyard. Ash sits under the large oak tree on the edge of the fence surrounding the building. Matthew quickly joins him, and holds up a small yellow leaf.

Matthew: Look at this Ashy!

Ash looks up at Matthew, and drags his body onto the ground.

Ash: God, you can be so childish sometimes... is breakfast done?

Matthew thinks for a moment, then nods his head excitedly. He seemed pretty excited about breakfast, despite it being quite literally the same breakfast ever since they got here... a plain ham and cheese sandwich, bacon, and two eggs. Except for the babies obviously, they had the standard baby-food from... outside the woods.

Ash: ...have you ever wondered what's outside the woods?

Matthew's face falls slightly, and he shifts on the ground uncomfortably.

Matthew: Uh... w-we shouldn't be talking about this Ash...

Ash: Oh cmon Matt, haven't you been curious about what's—

Matthew shakes his head violently in discomfort, and tugs on the cuff of Ash's uniform. He looks up at him with a pleading gaze, and slowly pulls himself closer to Ash.

Matthew: Ashy... don't talk about this anymore... please?

Ash: But—

Matthew: No Ashy!... don't...

Ash blushes slightly at his pleading expression, and stays silent for a moment, before sighing of reluctance, lying down on the grass.

Ash: Go to the cafeteria. I'll be there.

Matt sighs, a look of relief on his face. Ash watches him go inside the building, and turning right towards the cafeteria.
