Racing through the house, I was swooped up, right before I got the chance to run out the backyard, and away from Oscar. We were currently playing our favorite game of tag, which as the weeks had progressed, our brothers had told us to add in hide and seek, which is where one of us would hide first, before the other had to tag us.
Looking down, I watched as Oscar was looking around, before I giggled, and he looked up, trying to reach my foot, but I tucked it up, under the arm that was holding me. Finally looking at the person, I pressed a big kiss to his cheek, before wrapping my arms around my big brother, completely forgetting the game that I had just been playing.
"Get er, Os, get er!" I was then tapped on the back, as I knew I had been tagged, but I just held onto my brother, as he chuckled, rubbing his hand up and down my back. "How's work?" it was still clear that I had a slight stutter when it came to the use of my 's', but I didn't mind, and neither did my brothers, or at least, the ones that were still here.
Angelo had told me that we had been here for almost 3 weeks, which meant that it had been almost 3 weeks, since I had last seen my oldest brother. It had been 3 weeks where I had been allowed to stay up late, eating candy and watching movies, before running and jumping into bed with one of my brothers.
Whether they were my cousins or not, they were just like more older brothers, which was the same way that Oscar was my brother, and we had stuck together since I had gotten here. I rubbed at my eyes slightly, as I sat up against Alessandro, who was wiping some of my hair gently out of my face, before pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead.
"Seems like it's someone's bed time" he completely forgot about my question, and I had as well. I knew it was a touchy question for the boys, as I had once asked Gio about where Leo was, and he had just said he didn't know, and then walked off. I knew that I had annoyed him, as he had been a little distant from me, always being in the gym or out in the backyard playing with the football.
It had started to warm up, and the boys were talking about taking a spring break trip to a beach house they owned. I was glad that we had left that stuffy house in Montreal, but nothing was ever going to make up for the place we had had in New York. I had really liked how high up we were, and all the food places downstairs that I had wanted to try. There was even a park nearby, which I had been taken to a few times, but not enough.
"Here, I'll take her for a nap, with Oscar" I was then grabbed by, who I had learned, was Liam. "Where's Ana?" I questioned, quick to grab the hat that was on Liam's head, as he laughed. Throughout my time here, Ana, who was Liam's girlfriend called Hannah, but I called her Ana, she had become one of my favorite people.
She had braided my hair, read me books, watched movies with me and Oscar, played board games, made daisy chains in the backyard, cooked me breakfast in bed, and everything else. I really liked her and Liam, and I wanted her to stay here forever with us. "She's at work at the moment, but she'll be home by the time you little troublemakers wake up"
