Randy and Karen were surprised to find out that Sidney was attacked by the killer last night. More surprising that Billy was arrested as the culprit behind the attack but he was released after being cleared. Randy and Karen couldn't help but feel that there was something up with him but they couldn't focus on him at the moment. There was prankster at school who dressed up in the costume of the killer but he and his friend were called by the principal. Then the principal suspended classes and the police put up a curfew until further notice.

After the announcement, Randy and Karen went to their jobs early and they were more people coming in than usual. Customers were mostly going for the horror section and Randy had to guide them a couple times. Karen was currently stacking up some movie cases back into a shelf then she heard a weird noise. She turned to see Randy looking annoyed at Stu and some movie cases on the ground.

"Jesus, this place is packed tonight, man." Stu said with excitement.

"We had a run in the mass murder section." Randy said.

"Comin' to my fiesta ?" Stu asked.

"I was tempted not to because only an idiot would go to a party while mass murders are happening but to my reluctance, I agreed because Randy convinced me." Karen said in annoyance.

"We're off early. Curfew, you know." Randy said.

"Cool." Stu said in response. A girl in a blue shirt came up to Randy.

"What's the werewolf movie with E.T.'s mom in it ?" The girl asked.

"The Howling. Horror. Straight ahead." Randy instructed.

"Okay, thanks." The girl said walking away. Randy looked up and shook his head.

"Oh, now that's poor taste." Randy said.

"What ?" Stu asked.

He and Karen looked in the same and saw Billy with two girls. Karen shook her head, she always thought Billy would be the type to cheat.

"If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath, would you be standing in the horror section ?" Randy asked.

"No. It would be too obvious." Karen deadpanned.

"Thanks." Randy said.

"What ? It was just a misunderstanding. He didn't do anything." Stu said in Billy's defense.

"Of course you'd say that. You're his best friend." Karen said rolling her eyes.

"She's right. You're such a little lapdog. He's got killer printed all over his forehead." Randy said agreeing with Karen.

"Okay. Really ? Well, why'd the cops let him go, smart guy ?" Stu asked being goofy.

"Because obviously they don't watch enough movies. This is standard horror movie stuff. Prom Night revisited, man." Randy said.

"Yeah ? Why would he wanna kill his own girlfriend ?" Stu asked.

There's always some stupid, bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend." Randy said.

"Oh ?" Stu asked intrigued.

"That's the beauty of it all: simplicity.Besides, if it gets too complicated, you lose your target audience."Karen said.

"Well, what's his reason ?" Stu asked.

"Maybe wouldn't have sex with him." Randy guessed. Stu laughed at him.

"What, is she saving herself for you ?" Stu asked and Randy scoffed at him.

"Yeah right. I've moved on from that. Now I'm in a committed relationship with a woman who I'm going to marry someday." Randy said.
