Two days latter they allowed James out of the dungeons, he came straight to our room where i sat drinking some tea and reading a book by the window. Throne reading his own book in the sitting area.

The door swung open and there he stood, concern on his face. he looked at my neck, "they took the collar off."

"They did," I said, placing my book down. Although slightly annoyed by the constant interruptions, I made an exception for him. "As one of the Twin Dragons, Alexander has said that i have proven myself enough to be trusted with my powers."

I glanced at Thorne, who was still engrossed in his book, yet his ears were twitching. I understood this as a sign that he was listening intently, ensuring James wouldn't harm me.

"They have you under constant watch?" James asked, nodding at Thorne. "They let you go without the collar yet are having you watched."

"its because she tried to jump off the balcony yesterday." Thorne stated, his face still in the book.

"you tried to take your own life?" James looked mad at me.

"mornings are practically hard one me." i admitted, leaving out the fact that i now have constant nightmares. "its not like i could do much, i still dont have much use of my legs."

"She crawled there." Thorne told me as he set his book down. "Luckily Carlisle was on his way to get her dress for the morning and stopped her." he looked to me. "and what about this morning when you took your breakfast knife to your arm?"

i pulled at my sleeve, it covered the bandages that were covering some rather painful wounds.

"She also refused to allow Oberon, Carlisle or Lunar to heal her after." Throne sounded annoyed as he stood to his feet. "Keep watch over her for a bit, Lilliana should have been released from the dungeons as well."

Not only was my own husband locked up for two days for defying Alexander, but Lilliana and Alana were as well.

As Thorne left James turned back to me. "show me." he almost growled.

i lifted my arm for him. "it is really not that bad." i gave a short laugh. "nothing compared to what i put others through."

"enough of that." James sounded mad as he unwrapped my wound gently. "you know very well that that was not you."

the sting on the air hitting the jagged cuts on my arm made me wince in pain.

"You really did a number on yourself." James said as he gently brushed his fingers along the cut, his hands glowing with a blue light as the pain stopped. in the wounds place sat the image of a a golden Lily etched into my skin like the leaves that covered my body.

"James." i said softly, almost breathless. "i never knew your blessing looked like this, its beautiful."

"i should have given you one a long time ago." he gave me a smile, a bit of a smirk peaking through. "A fairy who is powerful enough to give a flower blessing gives them to the one they love most in the world, and that Alexandria, is you."

"James, I....." the door swung open once more. "does no one know how to knock?"

"You know, i have said the same thing countless times." Spoke Oberon as he and Astraea followed Alexander into the room.

"Really?" James glared at my brother. "i was trying to have a moment with my wife."

"too bad." Alexander laughed then looked to me, "we have prepared something for you, if you are feeling well enough to come with us that is."

i looked at James, he shrugged, not knowing what my brother was talking about.

"What?" i asked, a bit concerned. "i cant even walk by myself yet."

James sighed, scooping my into his arms. "i may be a fairy, but i am still strong enough to carry you dear."

i could feel myself blushing a bit.

"mother.... your arm." Astraea rushed to my arm, looking at the blessing on it. "he gave you a blessing. but.... mother, dont tell me you hurt yourself."

"i... um..." i tired to hide it in my sleeve but just sighed, my daughter was far from a child. "things have been hard, but yes, i did."

"Which is why i am glad you are finally free James." Alexander laughed, "ill have you watch over her during the night until morning when someone else can care for her."

"i will be sure of it." James agreed. "she will not harm another hair on her own head."

"im not a child." i protested. "i wont do it again."

"until we are sure of that, you will be watched for your own safety." Alexander said sternly. "We may finally be equals in this, but i am still your over protective brother, do not forget that."

"Okay, so anyways." i laughed, trying to lighten the mood. "what did you prepare for me?"

"you will just have to wait and see." Alexander smiled as he led the way down the halls that we grew up in, we stopped at the door to the room we had used as the portal room at one point. but i no longer had those powers.

"What are we doing here?" i asked my brother.

he turned to face me, "you are going home, to your palace on Luna island."

"that palace is your now." i told him, "it became yours when you claimed the Great Dragons throne."

"The Great Dragons throne is no more." he reminded me as he pushed open the door to show a single glistening portal.

"James, let me down," I said softly, and he complied but kept a grip on my arm. "This color..." I murmured, gazing into the shining gold-colored portal. "Whose magic is this? Yours is violet, like mine," I remarked to my brother, my eyes wide with wonder. "I don't recognize this power."

magic had been something i had studied since gaining my first chosen power, everyone had their own power color, some with two or three, but i could always feel whos power it was.

"Its mine." i familiar voice spoke from behind me, but i was not quite sure where to place it.

i turned and was looking at a face identical to Alexanders, but i knew in my heart who this was. where Alexander had golden hair, wings and horns; this man had yellow-blonde hair, no horns and no wings. unlike Alexander and my violet eyes, this man had blue.  "Alec?"

"It is me sister." he took a step forward. he was mine and Alexanders triplet, who had died as a baby. his soul had been living inside of Alexander, then me, then Alexander again.

"how is this possible?" i asked, James helping me to get closer. i reached out and touched his cheek, he was really there. i looked at James and even he looked amazed, then back to Alec.

"the gods thought it would only be fair to offer our brother the choice to bring someone back as well." he answered.

i looked to Alexander. "you could have chose Vivienne... why Alec."

"Because my daughter died knowing what could happen to her." he answered, "but our brother, never even had the chance to truly live."

i pulled away from my husband, jumping into my brothers.... my elder brothers arms. i could feel more tears falling down my face. "you need to stop being such a cry baby sister."

"do you have any idea what i have been through my whole life?" i laughed. "youd cry too if you lived through it."

"i did." Alec said, sounding serious. "i lived through it within you and our brother."

James scooped me back into his arms, looking at everyone in the room then looked to me. "lets go home."

we stepped through the shining golden portal.

We had endured immense loss and pain. Only the gods knew what lay ahead for us, for those I hold dearest. This might mark the end of my tale, but it was merely the start for my loved ones. They would embark on many more adventures, yet for my brothers and me, this was to be our final chapter. Though the Great Dragon has fallen,  I have fallen, goodness will always prevail.
